the phases of an aff member

I realized this earlier today. that most affers go through like the same 3 phases LOL. i mean, at least i did. ; ; this may or may not apply to all of u :-) don't feel offended by any of this btw LOL being in a certain 'phase' that i listed here certainly isn't a bad thing!

1. newbie phase: a whole new world

Ah yes. the early stages of a k-pop fan. usually. LOL.
they are new to AFF and everything is amazing and magical and-- what's that? a featured system? amazing.
i want to get featured too. please upvote my stories & dont plagiarize or ill chop ur legs off
they are the more active members, who spend 3 months straight reading kingka x nerd fanfiction. it never gets old apparently. they comment on everything because karma.
aff is such a great place. i made so many new friends! i hope i get featured one day. i'll just keep writing these generic plots inspired by cliche featured fanfics.

2. emo/scene angsty phase: i hate this website

a lot of people go through this stage. like a lot. it's quite common. i went through this stage too; it was a bad time.
they are sometimes rude s.
i don't read featured stories. i only read the most SUPREME and ANGSTY and DARK and MEANINGFUL stories. get that fluff out of my face.
a recent, new trend that appeared for this stage: changing ur username to a completely random object
new blog post: i changed my username from Starlight4ever589 to brick.
they tend to isolate themselves from everyone else on the site. they usually clear out their friendlist on this stage as well.
also a lot of the time, they will either consider leaving the website or going on a long hiatus. (this happened to me. i went on a hiatus, kind of. more like i logged on daily but did absolutely nothing but get angry at bad featured stories)
often they will think back to the times. when they were in stage one. where everything was happy.
oh how this site has changed. all these new members flooding in makes this website worse. aff isnt a competition. writing is  A FORM OF ART. take it seriously or leave you uncultured swine. if you write cliche stories you're a bad author. you should just stop writing if you're doing it do get featured. attention .
I CANT BELIEVE THIS WAS ONCE ME. CAN U BELIEVE IT?!!!!!!!!!???!?
maybe some ppl aren't as bad as this, but its generally like this LOOL

3. submission phase: i give up, give me the fluff

usually occurs after getting out of a hiatus, due to stage 2. or just happens naturally. instead of reading only the super good writing, they give up and start reading decent writing, because they're just that thirsty.
they become so friendly at this stage. so nice. suddenly it doesn't matter how many subs the fic has, how amazing the writing is, how cliche it is.. they read it b/c they.. like it.. .. . ..
a more mature version of stage one, you could say.
i could write a better wontaek fanfic than this one, but i'm gonna read it anyway b/c omg my freaking ship is so cute and i can't help it this plot is adorable
dont be afraid to approach a phase 3 member. be afraid to approach a phase 2. JK LMAO.
im currently in this stage. it's nice. i missed aff a lot and its like, wow. i love this site and i love writing. while in phase 2, i had writers blocks all the time. now im just churning things out its amazing. thanks obama

that's it. feel free to add things and comment about stuff down in the comments LOL.
i have been through all of these stages, and i basically just described myself mostly, here. lol. bad times man..
feel free to agree/disagree ?!!?

Stage 4: The infiltration of the crack fic approaching bad fic you read as a guilty pleasure. "A fic about [insert idol name here] having wacky adventures with a turtle and a lamp post in space? GIVE IT TO ME I WILL EAT IT UP +_+" (aka where I'm at right now lmao)

How about the desperation phase where you search high and low for a good fanfic because you read/previewed/tried to read all the other ones? xD So you hold on to that FF you do find for dear life?

Or the O-M-G!-Please-finish-this-fanfic-so-I-don't-have-to-think-about-it-for-days/months/years-until-you- post-another-chapter-phase?

Maybe that would still be a part of desperation?

im stuck between 2 and 3 because my otp ship doesn't offer too many good stories. im friggin desperate. i read all the stories from 2011 up till now and salvaged only a few good oneshots

but these are mostly just the phases of a reader? not really writing
