Background: Heejoo was 8 years old when she moved to Japan for 9 years (from age 8-17), she went into an international school there. She couldn't excel in studies because she has singing in her mind and was a lot more comfortable studying music than academic subjects. She was left under the care of her Aunt in Japan, she didn't receive much attention, she did most of the work herself like cooking and cleaning. Basically, she planned out her own life goals and wants all by herself. When she was 17 years old, her parents called her to come back to Korea as they were able to establish a company that they have put their efforts into. 

 

Heejoo after exposing herself to more kpop music at age 19, decided that she wants to be a singer or even an idol. She auditioned for NH Media, at first she was rejected but after trying again within 6 months, she got accepted as a trainee. She was one of the hardworkers that improves a lot in a short time. She was accepted well by her trainers however, it was difficult for the trainees to be close to her because she is rather a quiet and moody but strong competitor.

How You Two Met: First meeting was during trainee development programme in 2012. Every company sets their trainee upfront to battle with trainees from other company. These trainees will showcase their skills and there will be a panel of judge that actually records their improvement and such. Trainees usually hang out with one another after the programme thus the reason why at times when they turned to idols, they are already friends. As for Heejoo and Leo, Heejoo was attracted to Leo's voice. Leo on the other hand, doesn't show much interest thus Heejoo keeps her reputation low because she'd rather it be this way. It wasn't for long though because there was another trainee gathering after a month, and Leo has shown slight interest towards Heejoo so they exchanged numbers.

Interactions: Still a little bit awkward but never fail to smile to each other. She is daring while he is shy, it seems like she takes charge of things and he follows them. It's possible for them to get into an argument often as they both have conflicting opinions but they always end arguments in a good way, either they discuss over a small meal or they meet somewhere to put away training periods. What's strange for both of them is that, when they dont talk much with each other, they feel better with one another and enjoy the silence. Whenever they are silent, they can understand each other more through body language. This understanding however, doesn't work out when they talk, they can argue over little things at times.
