Promise me,will you?
She's an ordinary girl. Nothing special about her. She's that kind of girl who likes to do things alone. People called her weird but she doesn't care about it. She doesn't have any bestfriends like other girls her age. She never had one. She doesn't like to hang out with her schoolmates. They did offer her to join their summer party or birthday party but she refused to go. She just keep doing things on her own ; alone. To make it simple,she's a loner. People find her weird but she isn't actually. There was one incident that made her turned into a totally different person. An incident which will never be able for her to forget. An incident which will always stick in her mind because of that incident a hyperactive girl,a very cheerful girl,a talkative girl,a girl who loves to make others laugh and smile whenever they're with her now turned into a very quite girl,a loner..
That one incident she will never forget. She lost the one she depends on the most. She lost the one who she knew she could always count on. She lost the one who always had been there with her through thick and through thin. She lost the one who had always been an inspiration to her. She lost the one who always caresses her,the one who always had been so loving and cares so much about her. She lost her one and only bestfriend. She lost her unreplaceable mother. She knew she couldn't turn back time. If only she could,she wanted to do everything she had planned and she wanted her mom to know how much she meant to her,how proud she is to has a mother like her,how grateful she is to be born from her womb. To be getting that once in a lifetime chance,she was so thankful to God even though it was such a short time. She knows God will always protect her mother and that she knows her mother is happily living up there. Shining bright at night,she knows her mother is one of those stars.She had a very hard time since her mother left her and her siblings. She never thought that her mother will be leaving her that soon. She hasn't had enough time to spend with her yet. Every night,she will cry and cry and cry until she fell asleep. People who are close to her had found a dead end to make her accept the fact that her mother is now gone. No matter how hard they try,she still unable to accept the fate that had been written by God. She almost killed herself because to her living without her mother is a waste and she should be together up there with her mother to always accompany her mother so that her mother wouldn't be lonely. The day she almost killed herself,her brother was there in front of her room trying to console her but then when her brother heard a weird sound,he bang the door until it open and found her lying on the floor weakly with blood all over the place and her hand full of cuts,both left and right. And her right hand was holding a knife and was pointing to her left side of her stomach which the liver is placed.
As time goes by,she's slowly recovering herself. Whenever she feels so down that no one could understand her,she will lay on her backyard and stare at the star while pouring out all her emotions. She does it everyday after a few months her mother left her. Sometimes,she will just lay on the ground while staring those beautiful stars until she fell asleep.
Days,weeks,years had passed. It has been 7 years since the day her mom died. Through the past 7 years,she's been trying to rise again. Yes,she did failed in rising and gaining all her spirits back but that she never gave up. Whenever she feel like she's going to give up the last words from her mother keeps her going. "My dear little Kim Seyi,you are soon going to be a grown up girl and life will going to be tougher for you. I want you to always believe in yourself that you could brave all the ups and downs of life. You have to be strong,always keep the faith in yourself,honey. No matter what happen in your life in future,remeber the sun and the stars will always shine even though they couldn't but they'll try to. So do you darling. I want you to always keep this in mind,every bad or good things that happen in your life must have a reason behind it. God will never give a test to people who couldn't bear it. Promise me that you will always be strong and never lose the faith in yourself. Remember even when I'm gone you still have your sister and your brother to always support you. Never neglect them okay honey? Promise me that,will you. Tell me that you have my words and that you'll never forget everything that I had told you. I love you baby. Mommy will always love my little baby,Kim Seyi" Those are the last words from her mother that keeps her fighting back to regain all her spirits.p/s : Hi,since I'm new here and this is my first fics I hope you guys would like it even though it is short and might be kinda boring to you guys but I'm trying my best to make it interesting and I'm hoping for your support and do leave your comments after reading this ; don;t be a silent reader ;).
