My friends and I have just seen the results for the qualifying exam we took yesterday in order to continue in the Accounting course. The first part of our exam that consisted 60 questions was from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and it was all problem solving, The second part was from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and even if it was scantron/multiple choice, it had theories and problem solving too. 150 questions for it! I almost gave up just by seeing the questions! Our school was known to be one of the best in the Accountancy program so we felt very pressured. We couldn't be any more thankful for being able to pass it. We have prayed a lot. We even went to the church for 9 consecutive days despite the moody weather. We did not care if it rained or if it was 37 degrees Celsius outside. Our faith was strengthened because of it. It's such a shame that I thought of giving up but He gave me so many signs. I became determined to go through it. It's sad that a lot of my fellow Accounting students did not pass but there will still be another chance for them. As my younger friend had told me, "If it's meant to be, then it will be." I believe that everyone will have a bright future for us if we persevere. Do best in everything and make the most out of life. Have faith in Him!
