A Friendly Reminder: Blur or Erase

If you want to share a comment, a wallpost or even a private message, regardless of your intention, blur out or erase the username. We can't control the reaction of other people but we can control what we can share to everyone.

We should not put a person in a place where everyone can easily make negative opinions about them based on one post. You know how everyone loves to criticize and find fault on one another. (That's why linking the plagiarizer is a no-no. Even if user did commit a crime, we don't feed them to the wolves. An author left AFF before after popular author put her on blast. Minions left nasty messages in her inbox and wall and so she left. Cyberbullying is also a crime.)

Our mods, esp Andi, has always reminded us not put anyone on blast. Don't be a jerk, our ToU says.

But I understand the need to share the feels. Just be discreet about it. Be ninja, or try to be ninja. Even though some users know who you are talking about, at least you didn't mention a name, aha

Also, don't make a decision when you are highly emotional. Cool down first or you'll regret it later.

(I can be a hyprocrite sometimes. Remember codename:star and my blogs? I don't even have a justification for keeping you updated about that issue lol)

Would you be interested in beauty tips? A friend is contemplating whether to make one or not. I say, go!

Also, Kira blogged about the different AFF classifications. Don't take it too seriously. Here is the link.

No matter what the person did, you never resort to bullying the plagiarizer or whatever crime they committed. You're just as bad and guilty as they are for bashing them like that. I find it sad where authors rally up their fans to get back at the person who copied their story, just report and be done with it already that's what the report button is for -__-

Agreed. No matter what wrong one has commited, they should not be put up on the spotlight of negativity.

I think everyone should just be responsible for what they say. Why need to blur out their names? If they were ashamed of the quote they wouldn't have posted it in the first place. If you really want to take back what you've said, then just remove your comment or ask the person you commented on to remove it from their wall. Simple as that. I shall never go by censoring stuff from others, simply because people get lazy in the end and start to say whatever they want. Because they can get away with it anonymously. I hate that. Just think before you post and stand by with what you've posted. And if someone quoted something embarrassing from you, so what... we're all human and we all make mistakes. No need to be ashamed of yourself. No one's perfect.
