I'm Addicted to Korean Food!!!

I went back to the Korean restaurant I discovered a few weeks back and tried more yummy food!

This time, I ordered Bibimbap...,

\

It was Delicious! I loved the sesame seeds on top! I might order it again sometime.

We also ordered Spicy Pork..,

It was really good.., but a bit too spicy for me to eat much of.

We also ordered Dukbokkie again and Kimbap, I love these two dishes the most.

The free Side Dishes were really good as well. We got Kimchi and Pajeon!!

The Kimchi wasn't too spicy and the Pajeon was very tasty. I couldn't stop eating It!

I really wish this place was a bit closer to where I live. It's a 40 minute drive away :(

I want to try everything on the menu! There are so many delicious things to try!!

Plus, the little old ajummas that work there are really friendly.

They had a Korean TV station playing on the television. It was fun watching the commercials. The news was on, so it was just a bunch of political talk and stuff I couldn't understand, but the commercials were fun to see.

I also got to listen to the family that owns the place speak Korean and I picked up a few words here and there like, "Unnie" "Appa" & "Arraso"

This is probably the closest I'll ever get to Korea, so I'm making the most of it. Watch out world, I'm dragging every person I know to this place and we're going to eat every thing in sight!

I brought lots of left overs home and plan on having Dukbokkie, Kimbap, and Kimchi for lunch tomorrow, lol.

yummmy i love tteok boki i havent tried bibimbap yet at the restaurant i go to which is like 25 mins away and my mom doesnt really like to go out there unless we go to the market in front, get our korean food items and then go eat at the restaurant. But everytime we go its SOOOOO wonderful. The guy who i think is the owner remembers us now and when he gets our orders he sometimes assumes we r gonna get the same thing as the last time we were there so it makes it just as much fun going to hear him judge us XD. o and there are cute young korean guys working now so the restaurant got 50 times better!!!

The local Asian grocery store here where I live is owned by Koreans. I haven't been able to go in yet, I'm disabled. I have a wheelchair now, so walking long distances isn't a problem. Gonna have to have my son take me there.. I wanna try so much.

Oh my gosh I totally feel you! Korean food is so good, but I live in a place with almost no korean food near by and it stinks. I have to attempt to make it myself or just go to Chicago when I have freetime. The closet I'm getting to Korea is Japan, but they don't do Korean food much.
