THOUGH HIS PARENTS MARRIAGE WAS A MARRIAGE OF CONVIENCE BETWEEN TWO BSUINESSES, THEY WERE STILL ABLE TO FIND A SOULMATE IN THE OTHER PERSON. ONODERA HIROU, HIS FATHER, WAS THE SOUL HEIR TO A FASHION MAGAZINE HIS MOTHER HAD STARTED BACK BEFORE HE WAS BORN. BAE SUKYUNG, HIS MOTHER, WAS THE ELDEST DAUGHTER OF A KOREAN FASHION DESIGNER. TOGETHER THEY WORKED TO CREATE THE TOP FASHIOIN MAGAZINE IN JAPAN. WITH THE SUCCESS OF THIER MAGAZINE, AND SUKYUNG'S TIES TO THE FASHION INDUSTRY IN SOUTH KOREA, AFTER SATORU WAS BORN THEY MOVED TO JEJU, SOUTH KOREA TO WIDEN THEIR HORIZONS.

FROM THAT DAY FORTH IT WAS FITTED BUTTON UPS AND SLACKS WHERE EVER HE WENT. BY SEVENTEEN HE WAS DESIGNING HIS OWN CLOTHING LINE AND, WITH HIS PARENTS HELP, PUTTING IN STORES.

ON HIS EIGHTTEENTH BIRTHDAY HE WAS WALKING DOWN THE STREET, ON HIS WAY TO WORK, WHEN A CAR PULLED OVER. A MAN CLIMBED OUT AND STOPPED HIM. THE MAN ENDED UP BEING THE CEO OF SM ENT. HE ASKED SATORU IF HE HAD ANY INTEREST IN BEING AN IDOL, SINGING AND DANCEING ON STAGE. AT FIRST SATORU DECLINED, BUT THE MAN GAVE HIM HIS CARD ANYWAYS. FIVE MONTHS LATER DISASTER STRUCK, A FIRE HAD BROKEN OUT AND BURNT DOWN HIS STUDIO, TAKING HIS DEAREST MOTHER WITH IT.

NOT KNOWING HOW TO COPE WITH THE LOSS, HIS FATHER FELL INTO A DARK PLACE. THE MAGAZINE PRODUCED ITS FAREWELL ISSUE AND HIROU CLOSED DOWN THE BUSINESS. HE CLAIMED THAT IT REMINDED HIM TOO MUCH OF HIS WIFE AND COULDN'T DEAL WITH THE PAIN IT BROUGHT HIM. AFTER THAT HIS FATHER BEGAN DRINKING AND GAMBLING UNTIL THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT. AFTER THERE WAS NOTHING, HE SEEKED THE MONEY OF LOAN SHARKS. WHEN THE MONEY WAS GONE AND THE LOAN SHARKS CAME LOOKING FOR THEIR MONEY, HIS FATHER HAD DISAPPEARED AND GONE INTO HIDING. AS SATORU WAS PACKING THE FEW THINGS HE HAD LEFT, HE FOUND THE CARD THAT THE MAN HAD GIVEN HIM MONTHS AGO. UNSURE IF THE OFFER STILL STOOD, SATORU CALLED. THUS BEGINING HIS LIFE AS A TRAINEE.

Trainee years + Trainee's life: 2 Years. Satoru Joined TS after taking The CEO's offer months after the offer was made. At first he felt like an outsider because of being half Japanese. So he mostly kept to hisself. On one of the days he was practicing his rapping skills, Yongguk stopped by and gave him pointers and advice on to better control his breathing and get more out in less time. From that day on, yongguk would stop by and make small talk with him, thus becoming Satoru's first friend. After being told he could not debut for the second time, Satoru looked into switching companies. That's when he joined SM. It was the same story, he was outcasted but when the other trainees got to know him more, they accepted him in to their little group of friends, now they cant picture their little group with out him. Some how he's become the sticky stuff that holds them together. They alway look to him for good advice and help if and when they need it.
