The television video

First of all, don't be too overexcited cuz I don't even appear on the video. But still, as some of you might feel curious about my classmates and my french teacher hehe. Also the classroom where I take french classes, cuz it's all full of posters and stuff lol.

What we really don't understand is that even though this project is about doing Batxillerat (11th and 12th grade, which in Spain are NOT compulsory and are a higher level than highschool) in French, they interviewed a random female student from... 9th grade. A high schooler. Instead of someone who's coursing Batxillerat  -like me or my classmates -. I understand that this project will begin when she starts Batxillerat, but I think it would be more appropiate to interview someone who is, in fact, doing Batxillerat.

Seriously, I don't want to judge anyone, but shouldn't they interview someone from our class, someone who does study French language ? Or, at least, someone who's doing 11th or 12th grade... Nevermind, that girl's parents are close to the high school's director - the blonde lady  who is interviewed - so I guess that was why she was interviewed. But seriously though. Also, the other students who are recorded apart from us are from 10th grade... Ehm, okay...

Nevermind, the video's here. As it is in Catalan (click here to know about the language), I'll make a rough translation. Our segment begins at around 2:00 minutes.

Presenter: Even though it's located only 1km away from France, Puigcerdà's high school (where I study) doesn't have yet the French Baccalauréat, which would give its students the opportunity to study in a French University. However, the school teachers are going to bring the project to the school in the scholar year of 2015-2016.

Voice during the recording: Marta is coursing third of ESO (9th grade). She's being studying french for the last three years because she's sure she'll study BATXIBAC. She says her future is in the neighbor country.

Girl: I think it's a great opportunity, that enables me of having more knowledge of the French language, and well, when I'm older I'd love to live in Paris or something similar because I want to be a judge or a lawyer.

MY FRENCH TEACHER YAAY (Speaking in French): Núria, tell me, at least, one characteristic of the Imperative form without looking at the working file.

My friend Núria (In french as well): There's only three people: You, We and You (plural)

Voice: High school Pere Borrell is working to begin the Batxillerat classes in French in the scholing year of 2015-2016, 30% of it will be in French, especially History and French Literature.

Director Francesca: To begin with, we're only 1km away from the border (with France), that it's the same distance either going to Barcelona or Perpignan (city in the south of the France), and, besides, due to the difference to when it comes to University taxes... While in Spain you pay 2,000 or 2,500€ ($3,000-$4,000), in France it's only 180€ ($220)

Voice: At the moment, there's only one high school next to the border that offers BATXIBAC, Llençant, and this year, Vielha's high school (Vielha is where my father lives, this high school is just in front of his appartment haha) will begin with it as well.

My bestfriend Marina's back appears on minute 3:39. In the last row recorded, at the right side. Not the girl with blue t-shirt. The one behind :)
