Personality: Soo isn't the typical kind of girl you'll ever meet. She's different from all those cute and bubbly girls nor those badass and rebellious ones. You can say she's more on the adult's side — the ones who are serious and sophisticated. People would think she's a 30 year old woman trap inside a young beautiful girl's face just like Lee Hyori. She may be old but looks really young. She has this blank look that would confuse people — is she even happy or sad? No one knows. That's why her friends call her Double S or Serious Soo. She takes everything seriously, from her studies to her duties, she'll never do something stupid. She hates it when she fails or make something not worth presenting. She would do anything even if it took her all day or all night long. When she was in school, no one likes her to be in their group because even though she isn't the leader she tends to tell her group mates to make it even more presenting and something that screams 'A+'.

She also tends to be a bit bossy around people. She tries to minimize it but it just goes out of her especially when she's not in the mood. She doesn't care what people say actually. If she thinks this is the best then she'll go with it. One more thing is that she can be a neat freak. She wants everything in order of course. She doesn't want to see a speck of dirt. If she does, she'll grab a broom and clean it and that's were her bossyness goes out of her. She will boss anyone — young or old just for the sake of cleanliness. She's also a strong girl. She doesn't give up on something nor she won't cry for something that's not even worth crying for. If she does cry, she'll hold it back. She doesn't anyone (especially her father) to see her weak. 

Soo maybe a serious, bossy, nerdy and a neat freak but she has that dorky part inside her. Your lucky if you see her like that because she rarely shows it. Of coruse she'll show it if your really really close to her. She only hides it because of her father (you'll know ones you read her background).  When she's in the mood, she'll smile and laugh. That girl will go from Double S to Calm Soo. Sometimes if she's really in the mood she'll do something dorky that she doesn't know that she's doing it. Although she has that dorky side she still hates childish people especially when it comes to serious things so better watch out.

She may have a lot of flaws but no ones perfect right? Anyway Soo is not your typical girl but she's the person you can really depend on. She'll be your shoulder when you need someone. She'll be your tutor if you don't know something. She'll be your sunshine in anyway.

 

Background: Soo came from a rich family — her father is a CEO of the HongCorp, her mother is a principal while his brother is training as the next CEO of their company. She was born in Gangnam, South Korea. She had a wonderful life there. She was free and happy but as she turned 10, she and her family decided to go to America. Her father said it wasn't a good place for her to grow up because of her friends influencing her to be an unsophisticated and an immature girl and he hates it. He wants all his children to be successful someday and one thing to make that happen is to keep them away from distractions.

As she grew up there, she became the opposite of what she was when she was in Korea. She became more serious, sophisticated and mature even if she was still young. She dedicated all her life to studies. She learned new things especially she learned new languages. She became fluent in English even if she had a hard time at first but she overcome it. She also learned how to speak in Chinese and in Spanish but not as fluent as her English and Korean. She was always first in her class and became a valedictorian that's people call her nerd. It was seriously a hard life for Soo. She has lesser friends than when she was in Korea but she was still happy that at least few people wanted to be her friends. She can't goof off especially when she's with her father. She has to be serious and well presented.

Her life was a complete bore until some of her friends introduce to her the kpop world that she didn't knew when she was still in back home. She became really addicted to it. Of course she didn't let her father see that she likes it. She sometimes hum or sings to it when she's doing something or when she tries to calm down. Her friends always say she has a good voice that she should try to audition but she refuses as she worry about her father. When it was her last day of being a senior her friends dare her to upload a video of her singing. At first, she says no but because her friends were really annoying, she finally agreed. After posting her video, the next 3 days a scout from BigHit knock on their door and asked her if she wants to be a trainee. It was really a tough choice. After being addicted to kpop her dream was to be an idol. She bravely then asked his parents if she could be a trainee. Of course her really disagreed. He doesn't want anyone of his children to be an idol. All he wants is them to be the next heirs to the HongCorp but Soo hasn't given up yet. She told her father that she'll be successful — much more successful than her father. And if she doesn't she'll go back to America and study more about business and will give up on this kpop thing. Her father finally agreed. He sent her to Korea and let her stay at his sister's house.

How you met: Their meeting wasn't all that fun or nice. J-hope was strolling down the halls of Big Hit. He was looking for a fun place to go because s were doing something by their own. As he was walking he heard a music playing at the practice room. He went their because he was curious on who was still practicing there when he knows that every trainee went home already. When he reached the place, he saw a girl practicing her dance. He knocked on the door catching Soo's attention. She turned off the music and bowed knowing it was her sunbae. J-hope asked why is she still here and Soo just answered that she wanted to practice more. J-hope just nodded and sat beside the music player and told to just continue and so Soo did. J-hope noticed that Soo was all tired and well the atmosphere was kinda boring and awkward so he tried to spice things up a bit. J-hope stood up and started dancing randomly around her hoping that maybe she'll laugh and they'll become friends cause when he saw her, he felt something inside that he never felt before but he was wrong. Instead of laughing, Soo stopped the music and left the practice room leaving J-hope dumbfounded. She was really angry because her teacher was expecting her to improve her dancing by tomorrow that she has no time for jokes.

How you interact: J-hope tried to make up with Soo ever since that bad meeting they have. She kinda told him why she left so he tried to improve for her. He tried being funny, childish and active if he's with her but he didn't know that she hates it that's why she never even look at him. She tried calling her members but it was no use, no one was picking up. When she wasn't looking at her way, she bump into someone and it was EXO's D.O. Knowing that it was her sunbae, she quickly bow and said sorry to him. D.O of course accepted her apology and asked if he needed something because he knew that she was a rookie and it was her first time at Music Bank. She didn't actually want to tell him that she has a problem but when she look at the time, she knew that her members are gonna leave anytime so she told him everything. D.O just chuckled because when she was talking, he felt that she was nervous and afraid even if she had that blank face. So he showed her the way back to their room because it was next to theirs. Soo said thanks but before she could go in D.O stop her. He asked if they could be friends and Soo said yes and went it inside. He actually didn't know why he said that but he didn't mind. He just went back to his room, smiling.

How you interact: Just like J-hope D.O felt something inside him. So he tried being close with Soo even though everybody knows that D.O is shy when he's with girls. He tried being calm and cool when his with her. He doesn't want to show her that he likes him. Soo kinda felt also calm when she's with him so they become really good friends right away. Why are they rivals?: J-hope is pretty much jealous because Soo is more closer to D.O than him. Sometimes if the three groups are in one place Soo would talk to D.O making J-hope really furious. Trainee Life: Soo's trainee life wasn't all fun. It was tiring for her actually. She has to undergo diet so it means she has to eat vegetables with she hates. She has to wake up early even though she's use to it. She was also hated there because of her bossiness, cleanliness and seriousness. Also, she wasn't the best trainee especially when it comes to dancing. Her trainers would always say she has 50-50 chance of being an idol because of that but that didn't stop Soo at all. Everything that people say about her just flew away. She would train really hard. She would go home late and never even give herself a break. She was determined to imporve. She doesn't want to give up anyway becauseof his father and because it was her dream.
