There was a male college student who lived in an apartment by himself.

One day, when he came back home, something felt off about his apartment.

The next day, he had the same feeling when he got back home. This continued until one day he finally realized what it was.

His furniture would be moved ever so slightly from the positions they were in when he had left the house. He tried to think of who could be moving them when suddenly an idea came to mind.

About half a year ago, he had broken up with his girlfriend. Even now he would get phone calls from her, and sometimes she would even watch him from outside his windows. He had half-wondered if she was stalking him, and now he was almost certain that she was sneaking into his apartment when he was out.

She must have still had a copy of the key.

He didn’t have any proof, so he set up a hidden camera inside the apartment so it would record when he was out.

“If I have a video of her coming in here, I can bring it to the police,” he thought.

After getting the camera set up, he left the apartment for a while in hopes of catching her in the act. On his way back home, he went to a hardware store to pick up some heavy-duty locks for his door. With everything he got, it would take 30 seconds to open and close the door. 

When he got home, he quickly installed the locks on his door.

After looking over the rooms, he didn’t notice anything out of place, but he still wanted to look at the recorded video to be sure.

Just as expected, he saw his ex-girlfriend come into the apartment. The recording went like this:

Right before he came back home, his ex sneaked into the apartment. She was smiling as she looked at a knife in her hand. She didn’t look around the room at all, but instead went into the closet. 

That’s when he came in the door and installed the locks.

He stared at himself on the video.
