Do you know about facing mirrors? It’s when you arrange two mirrors across from each other so they face in and reflect each other.

Well, I heard about it today from a kid I was bullying in class. I think he was trying to scare me or something, because he started talking after I hit him two or three times.

“If nothing happens, you’re going to pay for this,” I threatened.

I guess if you do it at midnight, it’s supposed to be really creepy. But I don’t know what happens after that, so I decided to try it at midnight tonight. I’m going to use two big mirrors that I have at home. It’s probably just an urban legend or something… I’m doubtful about the story.

It’s 11:59.43. Only 17 seconds left until it’s supposed to happen. I sat down on my bed in front of the mirrors, waiting for the time to come, but as time passed by I had trouble calming down. What if something happens?

What? I’ll be fine. There’s a metal bat lying to my right. I’m right handed, and I can swing a bat if need be.
 

I had turned the lights off in advance to adjust my eyes. I was getting restless. Only a few more seconds.
 

5… 4… 3… 2… 1… 0!
 

But when I looked in the mirror, nothing happened. I only saw the mirrors reflecting each other.
 

I turned around and looked in the other mirror. It was the same.

What the hell? Guess it was just a rumor. It’s just some trick to make you freak out while you’re waiting for midnight to come.

That thought pissed me off. I kicked the bat that was to my right and went to sleep.

How should I punish him tomorrow? Something that will make him cry. I’m that pissed off.
