So my band director was laid off/ fired/ denied tenure today. I will probably be depressed for a long time. I just can't handle this. He's like another dad to me rather than just another teacher. I cried so hard today. And I yelled at this one girl who said she was glad he got fired. They just don't understand. All of the band members cried. Even my friend who said he wouldn't. Today was too stressful and this week is already off to a bad start. After he told all of us, we all just skipped class and watched Mulan together. My band family is in a sad spot right now.
