personality | Firstly: her optimism - While her feelings may, at times, get dampened by setbacks and obstacles she meets, Jubilee forces herself to think of these challenges in the best ways possible. This causes her to be influenced by her own mindset and cheer herself on with enthusiasm, hence her built-up optimism and hyperactivity. Secondly: her sensitiveness - Influenced by her family members, she is empathetic towards others, placing herself in others' shoes and sparing a thought for their feelings, hence her amazing ability to understand loved ones thoroughly. 

Thirdly: her initiative - Jubilee is often at discomfort when she notices that things aren't settled properly, therefore her undying insistence in initiating discussions or ideas to complete her tasks-at-hand. This has enabled her to be seen as a responsible leader throughout her lifetime. Lastly: her adaptability - Similarly to her optimism, she is able to adapt to different instances successfully by only considering the benefits of these situations, causing herself to be more adaptable to different environments. 

Of course, she isn't human if she had no negative traits at all.

Firstly: her insecurity - Even though she has been treated as a capable, responsible leader and an optimistic person throughout most of her life, some cracks may appear in her cheerful character at times. With so much bearing down on her shoulders, she is naturally afraid of messing things up, hence being under pressure occasionally. When her insecurity overcomes her, she is usually alone - she refuses to open up to anyone else. Secondly: her sensitiveness - this is both a positive and negative trait for Jubilee. As expressed in her insecurity, she sometimes takes others' mindless teasing words to heart a little too much. 

Thirdly: her sarcasm - Yes, she may be sensitive to others' feelings, but when she is unable to control her own stress, she may let slip her sharp-tongued character at times. However, rather than hurting others through her bluntness, it seems to others as a sign of friendliness and joking, a sign of closeness and intimacy. Finally: her fickle-mindedness - She gets sick of old stuff really easily and is easily bored - she craves for surprises and adventure. In fact, she could be really unpredictable at times, changing her mind frequently.

Perhaps that's also why she's called a Shooting Star - unpredictable, longing for surprises, yet a bright guiding light in everyone's lives, but so rare if not treasured. Also, an internal contradiction, since her traits could be both positive and negative at the same time, and that she could be so cheerful and hyperactive yet a mystery.

background | Born originally in South Korea as a pure-blood Korean with a beautiful name "Han Jubi", she was the first child, actually a product of an unexpected pregnancy but still received a lot of love from her parents who had accepted their fate and dedicated their time to raise Jubi. Having an extremely wealthy businessman as a father, she emigrated to the garden city of Singapore at the age of three when a fantastic business opportunity was present there, picking up English diligently. Being a proud sister of two other siblings, she takes on the role of taking care of her young siblings and her mother who unfortunately suffered from high blood pressure. Jubi could speak Korean and English fluently, so she educated her siblings.

Her father and mother were worlds apart - her father was the heir to a prestigious company, her mother had to juggle many part-time jobs since young to support her family. The three siblings were blessed with their father's kind-heartedness and determination in accepting the heart of a woman of a completely different financial status, as well as their mother's hardworking and filial character. The entire family had a close-knit relationship as despite the father's busy work life, everyone still took time off for quality family time. 

As for Jubi's school life, she was immensely hardworking and persevering. Her easy-going, fun personality had also garnered her a lot of close friends. However, if there was one thing Jubi lacked, it was charisma. Heck, she had so many close friends due to her optimism and her unpredictability, she was fun to be with, she was unpredictable and crazy, plus she had a couple of best friends she enjoyed being with; but something she always yearned for, in her entire life, was a true soul mate whom she felt comfortable enough with to pour out all her insecurities to. Even though at that point of time, with a comfortable life in Singapore, she had no need to master the Mother Tongue languages of Chinese, Malay or Tamil, she picked up basic speaking skills in each of the languages.

Jubi secretly loved dancing, but no one ever knew that, not even her family members. She would string together random dance moves and film her dancing. She made vast improvements by just improvising different steps, being inspired by dance covers on Youtube and performances by her school's dance club. Up till one day, when her mother caught sight of the videos in her daughter's phone, she related to Jubi that her dream was, too, to become a dancer one day, but was hampered by her poverty. She urged Jubi not to waste her passion - to follow her dreams and maximise her potential. When the SM Auditions were held in Singapore, her talent was recognised and she went back to her birthplace to become a trainee.

Taehyung loved his career - to sing, dance and rap on stage had always been a dream to him, and to have debuted recently was a significant accomplishment for him. After which, she was too shaken to even perform the mission - when she realised that the chance of them haing similar promotion dates would be very low, she was determined to initiate a conversation during the annual end-of-year music festivals somehow.
