Personality:

Jinkyong can be as loud as she wants and as quiet as she desires, depending on her mood. She also known to be a straightforward and a happy-go-lucky girl. She often voices out her opinions especially if she don't like some things or went the other way than she expected them to be. She can be insensitive at times and she has a high self-esteem with an outgoing personality. She is also extraordinarily bright and can easily lighten the mood despite her sharp tongue. She is somehow described to be a 'what you see is what you get' person for whatever Jinkyong shows offcam is who she is when on stage or oncam too. She can be laid back person who loves  to play videogames during her free time and she idolizes her older brother a lot. She is a dependable person and lovable person according to her family and close friends. 

 

Background:

Born on the 31st of December 1993 at Seoul, Jinkyong is the youngest of the Kwon family. She grew up having a loving and supporting family by her side. She likes to follow her brother around whenever they were little and gets scolded by their older sister when she does 'unfeminine' like things because she wants to do things that her brother does. Because of this, she grew up to be a bit too boyish than what her family expected. She is a soccer player back at her school and considered to be one of the best, gaining her title Ace for she is the school's star player. She loves playing videogames with her brother and when her brother decided to participate in the entertainment business, she then too, decided that she would follow her brother's foot steps. The two of them auditioned for YG entertainment and trained hard for them to debut. When her brother was able to debut, she decided to step her game up and train some more for her to debut too. When she felt like she's just wasting her time being in the same company as her brother, she left YG entertainment. After leaving the YG territory, a leak video spread out on the net that wooed Dream Tea Entertainment to scout for Jinkyong. It was later revealed that the video was a mixtape that she and her brother created and used as an audition piece at YG Entertainment. When Dream Tea Entertainment offered her the idea of becoming a trainee at their company and the chance to finally debut as a star, Jinkyong didn't think twice and grabbed the opportunity. She told her brother about it and he told her that he didn't mind er being in another company as long as she enjoys what she does and reach for her dreams. With a new hope burning inside her, Jinkyong always does her best for her to achieve her life long dream - to debut as an idol.
