(positive) sena is a loud and outgoing girl. she is full with bright atmosphere around her. she loves to play around, throws the lamest jokes in the world and still having fun. sena laughs a lot and like it when people around her laugh because of her, or at least laugh with her. sena has no worry with people befriending her, either they want a benefit with her siblings or not. she is pretty humble because she likes to have lots of friends. since she treasure friendship so much, sena really trying her best to take care of every people who close with her. sena wanted to make people feel pleased with her presence, she doesn't care how the way to get there, since she's a person who is goal-oriented, any ways are okay as long the goal can be achieved. somehow the title of being the younger sister of idols is really burdensome for her. at first she really proud of it, but then, people started to want more of her because they always compare her to either joo or ilhoon. when it started to be very tiring, sena try to be stronger with showing her hardwork harder. not that she want to brag about being better than her siblings, sena just wanted to prove that she can do it. more over, she wanted to make people who judge and hoping more from her realize that she is sena and not everyone else. sena wanted to be known as a professional idol who is working with her own way and not with the help of her siblings' names.

jung sena, like what her name means, is the third and youngest child of jung family. she was born in jeju city, right after her family moving to the city due to her father's job as a doctor. she's living happily as the maknae who showered with so much love and affections from her family. she has two siblings, they are an older sister and an older brother who are six and two years older. when she is 7 years old, sena started to become very active and somewhat interested in up beat music. with her brother, sena likes to dance along to the music, and her parents noticed early that their children has the talent to become an artist. three years later, the family except her father moved back to seoul because of sena's sister who was got casted and became a trainee at an entertainment company.

the next three years, in 2009, sena's sister, jung minjoo or known as the freshly debuted JOO, took hiatus and get trained again. that year, sena's brother's turn, jung ilhoon, came. he got accepted to a company after trying for n times auditioning. because of their own business, sena got a little stressed and lonely. she stopped dancing because she had no one accompany her, and she rarely sing because no one will correct her if she hit the wrong notes. sena somehow felt down but then lit up in no time. she wanted to become an artist as well, so she tried her best and started to start her dance and singing routine again. with the support of her family, and her siblings as well, sena continue her hardwork. she started to come to various auditions even though none of them accept her back then.

in 2011, sena started her first day as a high school student. she attends seoul school of performing arts, and got really impressed by the school facilities and the fellow students. a few months later, during her school trip at an amusement park, as a gift for the students for their hardwork preparing for their monthly showcase evaluation, unexpectedly, a scout staff from sm entertainment approached her and asked her if she can come to the next audition. he said that he got attracted with her first impression and laugh. sena was a little confused but happy at the same time. at the audition day, sena performed with h.o.t 'candy' song and luckily got accepted. sena was living a tough life after she became a trainee. the company barely made her sing because they stated that her vocal is average and told her to do rap instead, she needed to manage her school as well, and unfairly got bullied by the fellow trainees. after such a long time full with hardwork, in 2013 the company told her that she may debuting in 2014.
