knowing things going around her. She is the type of person that is very open



and often talkative, always smiling, says what's on her mind, and she can easily make

Background:



Seo Jae Min came from a wealthy family. The Seo family owns the famous



clothing line called Cher known all over world next to Gucci and Chanel. Their



endorsers are the biggest names in the show business like Anne Hathaway, Kim



Kardashian, Emma Watson, and many more. Though, no one knows that fact except for



a few people. Jay grew up moving around the globe to live with relatives. Her parents



were too busy working and only checks up on her once or twice a month. Jay came



from a Korean-American family with Korean, Japanese, and French decent. A month



after Jay was born, her parents left her under the care of her Grandma Xiaoyu in



Beijing, China and lived there for 7 years. Few months after she turned 7, she moved



with her grandma to another relative in Paris, France and they lived there for 4



years. Another moved happened when Jay turned 11 and went to Sydney, Australia and



stayed there until she was 13. Later on, they moved to Seoul, Korea and lived there



for 7 years.



In March 2012, her grandma Xiaoyu died of old age. Her grandma is



her everything and shewas devastated after her grandma died. She was never used to



being alone in a house so she went to her parents is Los Angeles, California. Jay



felt like she doesn't belong in the family so she worked hard to make her parents



proud but it never happened. She graduated in UCLA with a Linguistics degree,



that is why she speaks fluent Chinese, French, English, and Korean with also the help



of the moving she and her grandmother did when she was young. Jay has never



been close with her parents and they tried putting her in an arrange marriage with



another famous company so they can merge. It was a Thanksgiving day when



her parents broke out the news to her. Later that day, she impulsively ran away



and rode a plane to Korea. She doesn't have any relatives there anymore because



they moved out when Jay and grandma Xiaoyu moved out, too. Right now, she was



living with her guy bestfriend and looking for a job.

Reason of rivalry: Yoona has been running after Minseok since freshman in college



but he only like her like a sister. She's doing everything she can to get him to fall in



love with her but then, Jay suddenly get in the picture. She caught Minseok's eyes



like a love at first sight which irritated Yoona. She tries hard to bully her but she



doesn't know that Jay is much experienced on those kinds of things and much



emotionally stronger than Yoona.

How you two interact: When Jay and Minseok are together, Yoona has this plastic



mask covering her true colors and tries hard to be friends with Jay who always



brushes her off like a dirt on her shoe.



But when the two of them are alone, they bicker nonstop until Yoona gets really mad



at her and walk out.

How they met:



Minseok and Jay met on the first day of school. A student accidentally bumped the



fire alarm and the students of Seoul University ran for their lives. Jay was waiting



for her bestfriend, Shinwoo, by the fire exit where doors are supposed to be



pushed from the inside and pulled on the outside and Jay was pacing back and



forth. The door suddenly burst open and bumped Jay, making her fall flat on the



hard cement floor. Minseok, the person at fault, helped her up and said sorry



about a thousand times while Jay shout at him for being stupid.

How they interact:



Jay, being the overly friendly woman that she is, forgave Minseok the very next day



of their meeting when he brought her cookies and cream cupcakes. They became



friends and often hang out together with Yoona and Shinwoo.

How they met:



They met when they were in high school when Jay just moved with her grandmother



in Korea. Shinwoo was the school's student council president and his duty was to

They treat each other like brother and sister and they will be beside the other in



tough times and help each other out. Little did Jay know that Shinwoo likes



hermore than a bestfriend.
