Empress Ki story and ending
Hi ~
I don't know if you guys followed Empress Ki?
Well as some of you already now, Ji Chanwook is now my favorite actor
and I'm totally in love with him xD
He plays the emperor in Empress Ki and really just acts amazing! >_<
For those who don't know:
Empress Ki is a historical kdrama about a goryeo servant
climbing up to become the empress of Yuan.
It's fictional and of course there are facts here and there though :)
The plot of the story is really good,
I love how characters change through time (being round characters)
The acting of the actors and actresses are just amazing
and I can say that if I didn't put any sound on,
I would still be able to grasp the emotions in the story
Ha Jiwon really shines in this drama, how she can switch so fat from emotions
And Ji Chanwook really impressed me.
I found him in Empress Ki and I watched his earlier works and I mus say
he imporved so much, his expressions, he way of acting can pull you in
Don't get me even started about the other characters!
I fell in love with so many characters and hated so many as well.
I felt pity, compassion and that all because of the cast's great acting and the
great story and the drama being wonderfully directed and produced :D
For those interested, do watch this!!
I totally recommend this story!
Spoilers ahead:
So I just watched the final episode of Empress Ki and I must say...
I love the ending.
I thought it would be a cliffhanger or anything whatever, but really
there was so much going on in this final episode!!
It was so emotional and so amazing that I was glued on my screen xD
Just the explanations thoe villians gave, made me cry, like really :(
What Yom Byongsu said when he said he didn't had any crimes except for being born in Goryeo?
I cried, I felt so sorry for him, because that's what he thought.
He had to survive and what Nyang then said...
about him being a good husband and father if he was in a good Goryeo, then
all this wouldn't have happend to him T_T
I really cried so freaking much because honestly, sometimes a nation really can
ruin their own people, like Yom T_T
Then we get to know Tal Tal died T_T
yeah I liked his character so much, even cried like a baby when he killed his own uncle!
And then he died T_T
Then we switch to Nyang and the emperor and their conversation really...
My heart was hurting so much and even thinking about it,
I'm already crying T_T
How they told each other they love each other and how the emperor
would go with Nyang always but then suddenly dies T_T
I cried, so freaking freaking much here and
it just gets worse when we go back to the past...
Where we see that scene of Nyang having to choose the king or the emperor
with the horses, all the way in the beginning of the story...
My interpretation is that the scene of the past means
that Nyang actually already chose way back then who she would end up with...
the emperor, and not the king of Goryeo...
how fate decided to tinertwine their lives together and how
Nyang is torn to choose between the two, but ended up falling in love with the emperor...
OMG so Yeah, I cried so much and I just have to say
I love this drama
This is official on my list of favorite dramas and not even BOF is on it!
