ABOUT HIM / THE CHARACTER

( name ) Kim So Rin

( nickname ) RinRin (he doesn't mind people he thinks of as freinds to call him like that), Princess Rin (he hates this nicknae because his bullies, brothers and even parrents used to call him that. He has bad memories considering this nicknae and i will explain it in background)

( languages ) Fluent in English and Korean, beginner at Japanese and Chinese (and when im saying beginer i mean he only knows stuff he hears in dramas and movies)

( height&weight ) - 54kg & 165cm. (oi, no judgin the short people, we support the tall ones -sometimes literary *glares at my roommate*)

( style ) I could say carfree but thats mostly when he is at home, dorms or studio. If he goes out in public he would wear something his form fitting, usually dark colors and nothing bright (he is not big fan of bright colors). SoRin never wears insoles, no matter how short he is. Hi's moto "Lying to yourself means lying to world" goes in this. If he would wear insoles he would feel like he is trying to fool himself about his height. 

( others ) He has forver dreams of having a six pack (ain't gonna happen sweety), but he cant seem to get one. No tatto's. He does have pierced ears.

DAILY DOSE OF HIM / PERSONALITY&PAST

( personality traits ) He's concious of other poeple ( he always is aware of people around him and is carefull of what they do, if u watch him you would think he is acting as if he would be anticipating something bad from peopke around him)

SoRin never let's his guard down( He will always stay "cool" hide his true feelings if it hellps the situation- like someone making hurtful joke about him on variaty show and he would stay "cool" and not show his true feelings)

Sensitive ( No matter what, SoRin is senstivie to what other people, say, do or how they act around him. He can get realy upse if something bad happens to people around him. He can be senstive even if people are joking around and SoRin may not always get that they ar ejust joking, RinRin would actually take it to heart)

Thoughtfull(RinRin loves to put people he cares about first. You could say in this point he can be like an omma. But this side would only come out around people he loves and cares about. It's not easy to get to that point with him)

He is quick. (I mena seriously, the kid can run. RinRin is not the most atlethic one, let's be honest, he at sports but damn, he sure can run. SoRin excels at sprinting and running short distances. He at long ones like 750m and up but below that, he is like a bolt. Yet, he can easily trip while running if he isn't calm and focused)

Loves sleep (RinRin loves sleeping mainply because he loves to dream. For SoRin, dreams are the most safest place in the world. He had always thought like this ever since he was little kids. If hi's heat is ever confused or in mess, he would sleep, because that is his way of escaping reality. Times, when he is experiencing too much and he can't take it, hi's body would shut down on it's on)

 

(Im sowy if i went too much in detail for his traits. I just wanted to explain why and how these traits are for RinRin)

 

( personality ) If you would meet SoRin for first time, you would think he is either cold and meanish (yest, that is a word ^^) OR you would think that he is scared kid, who has had it's rough time in this world. It all would depend on how you would look at it and how much time would you take to observer RinRin. He is scared. There is no doubt about it. He had his hardships in life, his emotional scaring. While growing up, RinRin has realized he will never be like others. He knows that he is acred from the world, but who could blame him. SoRin can be carying and loving if you have earned his trust but if not, you will experience the coldess and the untrustfullness. SoRin needs times (sometimes too much time) to know if he can trust the person, if he get's the feeling that he could get hurt by other person, SoRin  will try to avoid that person. RinRin is sensitive towards other poeple and theyr action, which can put him in frenzy because of his fear of being hurt. He will always be vary of people around him and their actions which can lead to him being distracted or stresfull. In his mind, he wants to find someone who would love him and make him feel safe. This is the oly time when he doesnt mind if he sound slike a girl. He wants someone who can ssure that everything will be alright, someone to show him that world is not all bad. Someone, who would simply love RinRIn for who he is, no matter his little perks and habits.

There are many things RinRin hates, one thing is bulliying. He has felt it and he doesnt want to feel it againt, nor does he want others to experience it as well. SoRin despises his family. For SoRin, he has seen their true colors: the cruel and horrible side of theirs. He fears his older brothers, who intimidate him so much, that single touch from them is all it takes to make RinRin paralized of Fear. In his family, he only sees the bad, he doenst realise that sometime shis brother are simply joking and actually love him, he let's his fear blind him.

( history ) SoRin was born in USA- New York, on a cold winter day a.k.a 11th February. He was born in family which already had 3 older boys. The moment he was born, his father hated him. You may ask why? simply, because he wished for a girl. Yes, a silly reason, but believe me, it's how it is in real life. His brohers and mom loved him dearly, yet because the other three boys looked up to their father, they treated SoRin like trash and soon, his mom followed. SoRin only felt the hate from them and it was all he felt till the age of 9. AFter that, he saw nothing else, while his brothers saw what they have been doing is wrong. They started to joke around with SoRin, to love and cherish him, but it was too late. In RinRin's mind all he saw was bad things. If they did anything good tpowards him, RinRin thought it was only because they wanted to tease, prank and use him, so he always remained like a cold and emotionless child. His mother and father never changed. They had no interest in RinRin. His father's plan was to kick him out, the moment he turns 18. Thanfully, it enevr truly came to that, because when his oldest brother, Kim HeJun, decided to go to Korea, He took SoRin with him. HeJun swore that he would make SoRin open up and became a cherfull kid. ALl he wished for was his younger brother's forgivness and love. RinRIn was 11 when he came to Korea. SoRin had his mom's features, he was beatiful yet handsome at the same time, still this was used as a tool against him through school years. He was bullies, made fun of and called Princess Rin. it got to the point, were bunch of third year highschool student locked SoRin in basement for day and a half nad he was only found because his brother searched for him desperately. That was one of the biggst turning points in his life, which made him closer to his older brother and even more scared of other people. Also, this was the birth of his fear of darkness. he was scoutted by a talent searcher while he was singing in kareoke (forced to sing by his brother ^^).

TURNONS, TURNOFFS / TRAITS

( likes ) Reading Books, Taking a walks at times, when sun is almost setting (when u see that pretty sight of sun being low but not too low, dunno if u get what i mean but i can show pictures), riding bikes, strawberies, Sleeping, cooking (sometimes, playing League of Legends (just had to add this), reading fanfiction (yes, yes he loves this and i think it could be used for the story plot pretty well for some funny or romantic scenes)

( dislikes ) Crowds, darkness, riding too fast in a car, chocolate, bright colors, early morning, plushie toys, horror movies.

( fears ) Darkness, Horror movies, Being alon with bunch of people, being near his older brothers (except, HeJun, because he has gottne closer to him), he fears his mother and father (especially father).

( hobbies ) Reading books, Playing League of Legends, Sleeping (yes, it does count as hobbie...no arguing with sleeping hobbie expert *puts on the glasses that make you look smarter and doctor like*)

( habits ) Playing with end of his shirt r jacket when very nervous.

If he feels scared in room with other people, he will tend to find a spot that would be close to dors, but not too close so it wouldnt look like he wants to run away.

If he hears a rude comment or joke about him or meant towards him, he will hide how he truly feels and will only let it out when he is alone or with people he trusts.

His body will go in shut down mody if he is too stressted and his heart is too much in frenzy ( example for this would be if he would meet his other father and mother and they would start to insult him, make him feel bad and hated, or if the person he likes would reject in not so nice way, mainly this becasue as i said before, its hard for him to trsut person and if the one he likes turns out to be the one to destroy the trust, he would feel like being betryaed and other horrible stuff  *no judging me and my explaining, its way past midnight here*)

He loves to sing, but he never thought he had a good voice (he is too rough on himslef because he has amazing voice)

He sleeptalks, which is rather cute.

He never goes in dark rooms or places, if he enters room he will try to use his phones as light source.

Every time having a meal, he will always eat the meat last.

( trivia ) He is allergic to chocolate and apples. His current favorite book is by Ransom Riggs called ''Miss Peregrine's home for pecular chilren"

He has an aunt, that always sends RinRin an fashionable looking outfit every month. (who wouldnt want an aunt like that).

( mother ) Kim Rachel / 49 /  alive and kicking / house wife / She is pretty short (157cm), She is bit snobish, used to expensive things, has an affair with her husband's brother (ouch) / not close, the damn woman hates her son.

( father ) Kim MinHo / 54 /  Marketing specialist / alive / Hatefull towards his youngest son, always wanted a daughter, has some mental problems, cheating on his wife with his co-worker / nowere near close.

( brother ) Kim HeJun / 29 / engaged and alive / Working in IT field / very tall (183cm), He loves his younger brother, is engaged to an k-pop girl group member (secret, muahahah), lives in Seoul. / Closes member from all family memebers (except an aunt)

Kim Mathew/ 25/ single, alivr/ a profesion racer/ second talest of all brothers (180cm), he is econd oldest, he loves RinRin but doenst know how to make him see that, uses every chance he has to check on SoRin, many times only wtaching from afar/ RinRin fears him but he wishes to chnage that

Kim Anthony/ 21/ dating, alive/ College stduent in USA/ only few years older than RinRin, gave rinrin nickane princess rin and regrets it dearly, left home after getting in fight with his father about SoRin, living with his aunt who sends Sorin the gifts, that actually prepared by Anthony.

( aunt )  Kim HaNeul / 45 / married, alive / House wife  / loving towards Sorin, sends gifts to Sorin every month, has never met him in person, gotten in many fights with her brother, Sorin's father, because on he treats SoRin/ loves her nephews dearly.

( last thoughts ) well, i hope my application wasnt too foncuing or anything. This is my very fiorst time apllying for any type of story and i just love apply type of stories. sorry if i had some typos and grammar errors, english is my forth language so its bit hard.

 Hope you like my character (muahahahahahha, i know u said no this but i just had to add it. For me, it seems legit thing)
