My Life

History: Jongnam grew up not having any knowledge of his father, told by his mother that he died somehow. So he lives with his mother and twin, Changnam. The household was pretty much hell,as the mother would do nothing but sulk around and hope for the worst everyday. Both the boys found it to be very tiring.

To calm them down, the boys would go out into the barn and take care ofthe animals. This was their escape from their mother. Sometimes the two would walk to their friend, Daehyun's house to do some fighting and training. With the permission of Daehyun's father, the boys would fight with wooden weapons for the purpose of safety. Because Daehyun's father was in the games several years ago, he gave the trio tips for just in case of being chosen. He would also help them with their weaponry skills.

One day when the twins turned twelve, their mother gave them two pins, one a chicken and one a cow. She said they were to wear it once every year at the annual reaping just in case one of them were to go to the games. She was never close to any of the twins, so she pretty much hope that every year at least one or both of them were to be reaped at the games. It's unknown why she doesn't like her children.

Changnam was chosen to be a tribute of the 26th Hunger Games. Jongnam found it best if he were to go in the place of hisbrother, clearly because he's stronger and has more training experience than Changnam. So instead of Changnam walking to the stage, it was Jongnam, who people couldn't tell because the two looked so much alike. So Jongnam goes into the games as Changnam and Changnam lives his lfe as Jongnam.
Personality: Jongdam is a very protective person. He goes at his way to hlep anyone out that is in danger and doesn't care if he is injured. He will do what ever it takes to keep anyone out of danger. This sometimes causes him to get in trouble by his mother. She says that he's too selfless and he's going to kill himself if he keeps defending people.

Even though he's Protective, he is also agressive. He is very rough when it comes to horse play. He is always being stern and serious and there is not a time you woud see him play around. The only time he is letting loose is if he is with his dog Cheonsa. He hardly smiles and he is found mostly doing work around the barn. People always seems to think that he is miserable.

Other than agressive, he is a kind person when it comes to animals. He lets loose when he is with the farm animals. He is calm, collected and he loves to do things for the creatures. Only Changnam knows this side of Jongnam. He can be nice to others as well but it is rare.

While his brother is a calm person, Jongnam is a hot head. He holds grudgees and will remind a person of what they've done until the day they die. He gets angry quickly, for the simplest reason. That is when his rage goes out. He usually lets his anger out in his mother, who doesn't even try to hide the fact that she doesn't like the two.

​If volunteered, why: It really wasn't volunteer, but more like he and his twin traded spots without other people noticing. Jongdam did not want his brother to die, because out of the two, Jongdam was strongest. He wanted to save his twin the trouble.
Family's Reaction:  It was almost like Jongdam's mother expected it to happen. If it wasn't the other games, then it had to be this one. She believes that it was fate. His brother was thankful yet sad because he would've lost a part of him.

What do you do during public training: He works on his weapon skills. He wants to be able to be skilled in every weapon there is. Then he works on being able to identify edible plants and make shelter.
What do you do during private training: He practices his fire making ability and focuses more on his physical strength. He works out vigurously and works in his weaponry more afterwards.

Interview 

How do you act during the interview:  Jongnam acts cool and serious during the interview. He has a calm pressence and you can hardly see him laughing or even smiling. But he lets out a softer side when he is talking about Cheonsa. That lets the audience know that he's an animal person. But other than that, he has a cold face and he answers the questions honestly.

Jongnam makes sure that people can see Changnam when he is talking. He potrays a softer version of himself and he tries to act more intelligent, since his brother is a brainiac and he is just a musscle musclehead.
