Studying,skwl and sleeping patterns 

I know a lot of schools have started exams and a lot of students are exhausted and didnt have much sleep over the school,so in this blog I'll just give studying tips and these stuff.

 

Starting with exams everyone has their own way of studying I thought of telling u guys my way of studying.

 

Number one u should cancel off any distractions TVs ur phone u can sit in your room and lock the door or maybe study in a library.
I would lay all my books on my desk and label each book like for example I usually study and do my homework  in the weekends so I label a book using a sticky note saying :Test and Homework or I didn't understand the lesson, then label the most important subject to the least important.

 

Don't be shy to call your teacher or friend to ask about something you didn't understand, u can also check out videos online about the lesson.

 

If u have things u should memorize I recommend flash cards u can make your own all you need to do cut out rectangles from a piece of paper, u can write the word on one side and the meaning on the other for example: (front) restrict, (back) put a limit on.
I know it is kinda boring to study, so use color pens instead of the old blue and black pen,
u can also put on some music while ur studying.

 

We all get hungry while we're studying, instead of eating chips and junk food, eat brainy food,example do it fruits and nuts,u can also make a mini salad to eat while you're studying, (fun fact) study shows when u eat chips while you're studying can make u forget what you've studied earlier.

 

Take breaks while you're studying for example every 30min take about 5-8min break.
Sleeping patterns 

 

I'm sure everyone sleeps at around 12am-3am and have to wake up at like 6am.

 

I found out if u as a teenager didn't sleep for At least 9hrs you would actually forget things easily.

I know it is hard to sleep when you have an exam the forward day, I found an app on the Apple store which actually controls your sleeping pattern (I'll link it at the end), what u can also do 15-20min before bed is light up a lavender candle, it is really relaxing, if you can't light a candle in your room (like me) u can get a bowl of really boiling water and add a few drops of lavender oil or scent.

When u wake up in the morning it is important to at least have a glass of juice or maybe an apple or something, because going to school without eating anything could not help u concentrate in the exam.
