The first song that comes to mind immediately right now is Singing Got Better by Ailee. Probably cause I wrote a chapter on it as a teaser. The lyrics really are touching but there are much more songs that have meaningful lyrics to me.

As of this moment, I have A Pink's "So Long" stuck in my head. The beat and their voices are beautiful, it has a nostalgic feeling, and that's exactly what the song is about: nostalgia; wanting to be with your best friend again but knowing that you're only considered as a friend to him when he means so much more to you. Besides "So Long," the most memorable song that wasn't from this year or last was Infinite's "The Chaser." I remember reading what the music video and song was about, and it made total sense. Also, Psy's "Gangnam Style." What people fail to realize is that the song is a satire. It's poking fun at rich people in Gangnam since Gangnam's a pretty wealthy area because you see Psy walking through trash and shamelessly fooling around in public, which is the complete opposite of what wealthy people do. For English songs, right now nothing is etched into my mind, but it's not like I'm completely ignorant toward them, lol.

For me, I'd say anything by Switchfoot, but the one song that stands out the most would be Dare You to Move. It's so beautiful and deep and really just... hits home I guess lol. It's one of the few songs that I've just fallen in love with the first time I heard it, and I just really love it because it's not just a catchy tune, it's a beautifully written, well done song with very emotional lyrics that made me really think about my life and what it really means. I would highly recommend it, and any other song by Switchfoot, by the way. Truly beautiful.

Honesty by SHINee... First it's written by Jonghyun for the fans, and then it also fits a lot of situations. The melody is soothing and nostalgic. It gives me strength.

If I had to pick another one it would be Crooked by G Dragon. The lyrics are really sad though the music doesn't show it. But it fits perfectly because there are situations like these when you are so desesperate you can only laugh at your situation...

Presto by Rush
I don't think I would have gotten through so much without that song!

"I am made from the dust of the stars
And the oceans flow in my veins
Here I hide in the heart of the city
Like a stranger coming out of the rain

The evening plane rises up from the runway
Over constellations of light
I look down into a million houses
And wonder what you're doing tonight

If I could wave my magic wand
I'd make everything all right..."
