I need help from serious writers.

Okay, I understand that these days I'm asking for too much help with everything, but I really am tired of this thing. So, I need help again.

I have writer's block for about two years now and I have no idea how to get over it.

Please, give me some advices how to get over it, I really want to write but there isn't a single word coming out of me and I have no ideas to write at all. Please, help me. т.т

well for me, i take long bus rides, plug in my earphones and just stare out of the window while watching the passing scenery. or i would hang out with my friends and talk about life (mostly them doing all the talking while i observe). i mostly get inspiration when it's raining or when i venture out of my house and experience something exciting. but if you need inspiration or ideas the fastest way, sit somewhere calming and think about your life, the important bits, or your regrets and see if you can change the ending. it might turn out differently if you did something else. with that, you can actually write a fanfiction itself. these are ways i overcome writers block.

i know we've never really talked before even if we're friends on aff, i'm glad i still could give you some tips. hope it helps^^

The besr thing for me is reading a lot. Usually it triggers an idea. Like I like their plot but I see things I would do differently. Or I like the characters style so I think about putting them in a different scenario. Usually my ideas all stemmed from dreams I had or other things I read. Just try any random plot line you think of, if you write an outline or judt random notes to draft a story and you come up with several pages it means you have enough interest to write at least a one-shot. Try one shots before attempting big stories.

Most importantly don't stress or force yourself to write. Read and observe things around you or watch movies. Then when inspiration strikes write notes down. Not all ideas become stories and we never know when we will write again(I thought I was done When bam 3 or 4 ideas came into mind). But if you don't write it you will forget and it will never stand a chance of developing into a story.

what kind of writer's block do you have? you have no idea or you have ideas but can't put them into words? I usually deal with the later one... for that problem usually I need some kind of motivation. sometimes from reader's comments and sometimes I just force myself to write (just for the sake of finishing the story). It will turn out crappy at first but as you keep on writing, it gets better.

im actually quite on the same page as you and ive been on the same situation as well. im trying to get over it and somehow i do, but then it all just doesnt come out right and i start over from step 1. but anyway, ive been recovering bit by bit. these are my tips, if at all:

1) go on an adventure (sometimes ideas come to you in the most unexpected places),
2) put yourself in your story (what would you do if you were in the same situation, just so you could update for example hahah),
3) start with drabbles (focusing on a particular scenario and derive ideas from it or describe something: a feeling, an object),
4) read books, trivias, instructional manuals- anything!
5) think about how youll improve on your writing if youre not doing anything
6) listen to good music (preferably ones that make sense that you could make a fic out of, too, if ever)
7) write still even though it (itll come out right eventually when you beta)
8) so yea, also beta beta beta yourself! theres no other beta better than you, because you get your story and you get how its flowing
9) listen to (your friends' stories) and observe people around you
and 10) well, sometimes theres a need of pressure so join a writing contest or something that would for example limit you two weeks in just writing the piece youll submit.

sometimes these things help, im not saying theyre 100% guaranteed to work. but it wont at least hurt to try. good luck on getting over your writer's block! ^^ but really, blocks are beeyotches and the only way to get over them is to do something about it.

Read a lot. Facts or fictions, it doesn't matter as long as you read. Find story that inspire you.

what I do whenever I get writers block is go on tumblr and look at blogs with pretty, simple, and very artsy pictures. I scroll through and find a picture that I really love and start planning a story about it. I don't always write them, but the juices start to flow again. For me at least

just write, even if its crap.
start baby steps maybe journaling or like getting simple composition topics. then you go big with your ideas! do things that spark your creativity :) all the best!:D
