This is going to be a review of the last part of episode 16 of 'Gods gift - 14 days' (click the link to be directed to the drama (with eng subs) on viki.com) as some people didn't quite understand the ending.

Ok, so first things first; i cried!

Secondly, i'm sorry to those haven't watched the ending as this will most deffinaltey spoil it.

So dongchan gets a phone call from his 'mother' when it was actually someone who just sounded like her. She says 'i killed the baby' 

Dongchan finds Saet Byul and is like 'omma didn't kill her...i did' (Don't forget someone spiked his drink so he's now drunk, and Saet byul isn't really dead, just knocked out) 

And to save his mom he's going to take the blame.

Meanwhile, soo hyun (Saet Byul's omma) receives a phone call from the 'wrist' guy, telling her what is happening. She rushes over to Mujin reservoir and sees Dongchan in the water, whilst holding Saet Byul

Saet Byul holds onto one of Dong Chans buttons and he then realises that she is alive. He thinks back to what the lady in the Café said 'Only one of the two can live' (A bit like harry potter) At first he thought the prophecy was about 'Dong-ho' (his brother) and 'Saet-byul', but now he realises it's about him and saet byul. The last words you hear him say are 'I will protect Saet-byul'

Then the screen goes blank as you hear a 'splash' sound.

The next thing you see is Dong-ho being released from prison and is met by three blurry figures (Is one possibly DongChan, even though we all thought he died in the water)

Next, you see is Saet Byul with her mom and Soo hyuns mom 

They look over the waters edge, presumably looking at where they last saw DongChan.

The sadded thing you will ever watch happens next, as it cuts back to when Dongchan read his version of 'The story of a mother' book to Saet byul, the one about the mother who lost her child, and the knight saves her.

Dongchan: “The knight saved the child and returned her to the mother. And the child and her great mother lived happily ever after.”

Saet Byul: “What about the knight? Did he live too?”

To which, we don't get an answer!!!

The writers of this drama have left it as an open ended drama, so it's up to us whether Dong Chan survives or not. But seriously, you could have given us a 'special episode' as they call it, i was kinda disapointed at the end of this drama as i am the type of person who wants to know what happened next, they could have at least flipped a coin to decide which ending they were going to do.
