Personality:

He’s an independent boy. He didn’t want to expect help from the othis. As long as he can do it all himself, he will going to do it by himself. He will strive to do everything by himself. If he really can’t do it, he will start to ask a little help to the othis. Joohyuk is a good-listener. He’s a type who likes to listen to the othiss’ problems. But instead of just listening to it, he will ask “So, what are you going to do?” and he will give some advices to that person. He won’t force that person to follow his advices. His advices are only the optional to solve the problems. “The final decision is yours.” He’s easy to adapting in a new place. Don’t forget to mention that he’s a kind of person who is really realistic. Everything that comes out from his mouth can be explained by his in realistic perspective and some even have the scientific explanations. She didn’t believe in magical things or something like that. Everything should be explained in realistic way.

He’s a fearless guy. He isn’t a type of guy who afraid for making mistakes. Never say “Don’t” to him, because he will exactly do those don’ts that you said before. He isn’t that rebel. He’s just an over-curious over something that you said it was prohibited for him. Breaking the rules is one of his bad habits that he needed to be erased from his life. He’s a short-tempered guy. He’s having some troubles with controlling his anger. Let’s say that he’s a sensitive guy. Never say harsh things to him or he will throw a weight punch right on your face. When someone annoyed him, he will throw a death glare to that person. If you see him holding his fists tight, it’s a sign that he’s angry. Go bring him somewhise else before he starts to knock down that annoying person.

But when around the BTS members, he tried his hard to handle his anger. He realized that he was around under-age kids. He became a caring guy who often asked what the members' need, how are their conditions, asking if they're facing any problem or not, etc. He became the father figure for the boys. He never shows his tiredness to the boys. Even though his body felt weird, he still work hard to handle them as best as he can. He often sleep late to make sure that the boys went sleep first and after that he prepared anything that they need for tomorrow. And after everything was set down as it scheduled before, he would start to sleep. But he can be  super strict figure sometimes. He did this to make the boys became discipline and never making a big mess.

Background:

Jei was born in a family who let their children to choose their own path in the future. They didn’t strict to any rules at all about their dream job when they become an adult one day.

Little Jei was a kind of lonely during his childhood time. His father who was a teacher rarely met him in a day, so did his mother. Both his parents were always busy with their work. Jei often spent his time to play around with his neighborhood friends around his house. But once their parents were off work, they would bring him to walk around or just talked each other. His parents always told him to be an independent boy so that he could stand still even though he faced oh so many problems in his life.

As he grew up, he started to gain interest in graphic design things. He asked his parents’ permission to enter a university and majoring in graphic design, in the end his parents allowed him to take anything what he wanted as long as he could be responsible of what he has chose at first. Jei became a serious college student and finally he could finish his college life with good marks. And soon as he graduated, he got a job at Core Contents Media as a graphic designer after tried to apply in different places for nth times.

After few months worked as a graphic designer, he heard rumor about the CCM’s new group project and they needed a manager to handle this group. Soon after he knew this news, he applied as a manager and he got interviewed by the staffs. Fortunately, he got accepted as the new manager of this new group; which known as Co-ed School.

He successfully handled Co-Ed School for about 1 year and 1 month until some troubles occurred. The members started to leave the group and another member joined the group, they stopped the promotion of the whole group Co-Ed School but started new debut for the sub unit instead, and also the bully issues that appeared in many media. These things made him to resign from his position and started to found another work. He tried to find new job and ended in Big Hit Entertainment, being manager for BTS.

The Interview

Why did you choose to join the company?
It’s been a while since the last time I held a group of people who are having hard time behind their star-life. I resigned from Core Contents Media because I wanted to have more experiences in this kind of job. And the reason why I chose to be a manager for BTS because I wanted to feel how to handle these bunch of kids who are years way too younger than me. Haha. No. It’s because even before their debut, I saw them really talented in their very young age. And I really like their predebut mixtapes. And in my opinion, they will be a huge group in few years later.

Out of the group members in your charge, who is/are your favourite/s?
Even though I’m just working with them for about 8 months, but I already feel like they’re my own little brothers. They’re hyper playful kids but they can turn to be really serious men when talked about their music producing. All of them are my favorites. But to be honest, the closest member with me is Jin and Suga.

what is your relationship with your charges like?
They’re like my own brothers. We’re like family already. Sometimes I treat them to eat something that they want if I see them practicing really hard with all their might. They share their problems to me and ask for the solution about it. They even ask to my opinion about their songs. Yeah, we’re really close each other.

Is it difficult to work with other coordinators (eg. hairstylists)?
No. Because we made small discussion with the other coordinators before doing something to the boys. And I like to work with them until now.

how would you describe your charges?
Rapmonster who’s in charge of being the leader is really giving the kids big support to his dongsaengs. His skill in composing the lyrics is no doubt. But if you see their videos in their youtube channel, you can see how derp is he. Yes. He’s really like that. And Suga too. In my eyes, he’s really cool, even without the eyeliners on. Same as Rapmonster, his rapping skill is jjang! And for Jin, who’s the oldest member among all, is indeed a figure that is really caring for the other. And his visual is really something. If I were a girl, I will definitely want to be his girlfriend lol. Now for J-Hope, who’s in the charge of being the mom of the group. He really nags a lot. He even nags more often than my mom did. I’m gonna tie Jongkook and Jimin together. Little kids who can make noona’s heart fluttering just by seeing their smile rofl. The last is V, the alien. I swear that I have hard time to understand what’s on his mind. He’s really unpredictable! But that’s what makes him really unique and one of a kind. Overall, all of them has unique personality. Behind their strong charisma on stage, they're indeed a bunch of kids who still need lot of attention to develop their skill even more to achieve their dream to be success in music industry.
