I do cyber school, and I take a creative writing class, and right now I'm all like... Can I write fanfiction.

I have to write a story about a guy, based on the contents of his suitcase.

I have to write a narrative about some incident that happened when I was a child. 

I have to create a character.

I have to  come up with a short story idea.

And now three-dimensional characters.

I'm behind. It's much easier writing fanfiction.
