Pray For South Korea

Stolen from jfreakns95.

What happened recently to the Koreans who are still in the sunken ship was really terrible. It's sad to know that the captain was being irresponsible for saving himself first and not saving the passengers which are children, teenagers and teachers. Two Korean students were brave enough to risk their lives saved their friends first and sadly, they both died. What touched my heart was Jung Chawoong who's birthday is the same day as the day his life was taken. I hope he will rest in peace. He's truly a hero. All respects and prayers go to him.

There were still a lot of people missing and I hope that everyone at least pray for the best. Pray that the rest of the passengers who are still in the sunken ship are still alive. Condolences to all who lost their family members in the tragedy.

#PrayForSouthKorea It is a tragedy that could have been avoided in so many ways. I hope the families and the South Korea as a whole can band together and make their way through this.

# prayforsouthkorea ♡ ♡ RIP

i don't really blame the captain as much as I do the communications staff that was on the boat, the ones responsible for making that announcement in the first place... the one telling the students to stay where they are. If only they didn't do so, more people would've thought to run out onto the deck and save themselves. But alas, even the communications staff survived, which seriously pissed me off. And all they had to say was "We never went over or learned any procedures for evacuation in case of sinking, just fire drills, we didn't have time to help, we kept telling them to stay put over the announcements for an hour." T_____T like seriously?!

I don'tknow any of them but me and my mother went to church to pray and lit a candle of memorie and hope ( so two candles in total) for them. And i will pray again before going to bed. The least we can do. I realky started to cry when they talked with the mother who phone called with her son short before. I wished she would find him alive but if he had to go i at least want to pray for his parents. It's so horrible to lose your child, it's something non mothers/fathers ahould ever experience. It's so painful.
Let's pray together aff-comunity ~

I agree with Infinite_H_Inspirit. I mean, no one wants to die but dude, you're 69! (Hehe, 69) At least try to save the children and teens and teachers because they have a long life ahead of them. And for the captain that died saving others, I wish there were more of those kind hearted people on that boat. I hate to have anyone die, but I'd rather have 1 person die than having 400 something people die.

When I first heard about the captain and the crews saving themselves first and not the children, my first thought was greedy b*stards. I hope you rot in hell. I mean, the captain is 69 years old! He has lived long enough and the students hasn't even lived out their dreams! And then I read that one of the crew members, 4 years older than the students, just graduated, stayed behind and helping everyone getting to safety but sadly, she passed away. One of the student's asked her, "Unnie, why aren't you wearing a life vest?" and she replied that she doesn't want to wear it unless everyone already wore it. It was heartbreaking hearing that but she also gained my respect. I hope that the captain gets what he deserves...
