Ahn Jae Yoon, who is also known as AJ, was born on the 16th of April 1995. AJ came from an average Korean family with a loving mother and a caring older brother. She has been really close with her family since she was young until now. AJ was like the prized daughter any parent would love to have. Smart, independent, talented, and caring. She was always been on the top students in her grade. She has the beauty and brains that anyone would kill to have. AJ idolizes her aunt Eunhye - the actress, singer, and model - who has been in the show business since 1998. AJ grew up wanting to be just like her aunt that when she was 7 years old, she convinced her mother to enroll her in singing and ballet lessons.

Determined to be a singer, AJ asked her aunt to accompany her audition for various TV dramas as a cameo or sometimes join some game shows for kids as a stepping stone. Eunhye once brought her to one of her modeling photo shoots and there is where it all started. The photographer saw that AJ has a potential in modeling and quickly asked AJ to pose for him. Few weeks after, she got a call from a local kid's clothing store owner asking her if she wants to model for her so AJ did. She became a commercial and magazine model at the age of 8. She got known around the country for her beautiful face and nice personality. She also joined few pageants and won 5 times out of 9 of them.

Her mother is a linguist who speaks 12 different languages and works for different people - tourists, celebrities, head of the country, you name it. AJ got interested about learning other languages and made her mom teach her since she was young that is why she speaks fluent English, semi-fluent Chinese, and conversational French. Her father died of heart attack when she was only 10 months old so growing up without a complete family is quite a sensitive topic for her.
