Writing Self Reflect

[ 1 ] How many fics have you started? (No matter how few it is, you can give yourself a pat on the back for demonstrating initiative.)

I have 17 which is 11 more then I had this time last year :D

[ 2 ] How many fics have you completed? (Now, if it’s greater than zero, you can give yourself another pat on the back for demonstrating commitment.)

I have completed 8~

[ 3 ] What is your very first fic? What inspired and motivated you to write it? How do you feel and what do you think about it now?

My first fanfic was, Battle Royale 3 The First Battle, and I had always loved the Battle Royale movies ever since I saw them, and so I wanted to make a story about them, so i thought well okay I'll write it on paper and then kind of tweek it when I type it out, so i did that and I really liked it, I liked the characters I had and how they acted, I liked the death scenes I made, I liked how I was making it s people could relate to a character (well hopefully), I ended up deleting it but I still have it written on paper.

[ 4 ] Which fic of yours do you think is the most well written? Why?

I feel like You and Me is my most well-written fic so far, I don't know it just seems like it's gonna be really good.

[ 5 ] Which fic of yours do you think is the most poorly written? Why?

Behind Closed Doors, I started writing it and I was rushing, so many grammar errors, the plot is awful and I feel like that's why people don't like it very much. I have so many plans for that story but I just need to freshen it up a bit, I hope people will read more then the first 8 chapters and realize that it's really not that bad xD

[ 6 ] Which fic is your favorite out of the ones you’ve written? Why?

That would be, Idols Are Skary, I think that one is the one I LOVE to write, I've always liked, Evil and Goth, and Crazy kids, and then to apply that to Idols makes them seem "Skary", I mean we don't know what Idols have done in the past,a dn we don't know what their childhoods were like, so who's to say they didn't kill their dog and then blame it on an old man and then kill their parents and then their husband and child (I'm watching you Sulli).

I have nothing else to say then what I said in the upper paragraph a year ago xD Idols Are Skary is still my favorite fic~ and Hold My Hand

[ 7 ] Which fic is your least favorite out of the ones you’ve written? Why?

Dr. Feelgood, I know what's going to happen but still....

[ 8 ] Which character that you’ve written (does not have to be an OC; can be your portrayal of an idol) do you believe most closely resembles you?

Haerin from You and Me because she resembles me from what happened to me in reality so yeah...I feel like she's most like me

[ 9 ] What are the most common topics and themes that dominate your stories?

Romance and Fluff, I like more gore and death, than romance, but to me Romance is easier to write, in horror stories, you have to have a good plot and it has to be scary, where-as in romance in fluff, you just have to have sweet cheesy lines and everyone loves it, so I think that's why I do more romance.

[ 10 ] What do you think are your strengths when it comes to writing? Be specific.

I think when it comes to my writing my strengths are, writing good beginnings and endings, I always know what i want to do for the beginning and then I know what i want to do for the ending, because in the beginning you're just introducing the main characters so it's easy to write, but then when you get closer to the ending, not every story can have a happy ending, so in one of the fics I wrote on another site, the girl didn't get with the main guy, she went with her ex-boyfriend, because being realistic she couldn't date a boy (17) who was 10 years younger than her and she was his choreographer, so she ran off with her ex-boyfriend and then came back to Korea and saw his 10 year anniversary concert with his group (NU'EST) and she had 3 kids, before she leaves she whispers, "I will always love you." Meaning that he will always have a place in her heart, and then once she leaves a woman ask's Baekho for help with a banner, he agrees and finds out that her name is Jung Soohwa, and that's the end, signaling that he found love with Jung Soohwa.

[ 11 ] What do you think are your weaknesses when it comes to writing? Be specific.

Making the , I think i can make small, little things happen, but when it comes to something big, I just lose it and I have no idea hwo to make it all tie together. And honestly just describing things, I hate describing things, I just want people to use their imaginations and not have me describe what kind of wood the table was made of like come on be creative in your own mind.

[ 12 ] In what ways do you think you have improved since you first began writing fan fiction?

Well I believe just proper grammar is something I've excelled in, also a larger vocabulary xD

[ 13 ] In what ways do you think your writing reflects you?

I like romance, I like it nice and simple, old-school, if you prefer, and I think what I write is what I want to happen to me someday -to a degree- and I want to fall in-love in a cheesy way, but I think a lot of people want that.

[ 14 ] Why do you write?

Writing let's me put all my thoughts on paper, it's like my journal. I take real life experiences and twist them into my stories, so when I'm writing, I'm telling you about my life. When I die, people will read my fics and say, "that happened to her in 2012."

[ 15 ] How do you evaluate yourself as a writer? How do you define your success a writer?

I think I'm surprised, at first writing was just an escape, I forgot everything when I wrote, but then people started to subscribe to my stories and then it became, "OH! I should update people actually read this and are telling me to update!" And when I read comments about people telling me to update, I don't find it annoying, I find inspirational, it means people are interested, and then I feel I get more successful every chapter, so i always strive to update as soon as possible.

[ 16 ] What do you think it means to be a writer?

I think being a writer is not something you do for recongnition, it's something you do when you have a fantasy, that's what writing is, every writer who has written something has either, experienced it, wants to experience it, or just has a fantasy. Look at Harry Potter, that book series has made the most money, of ALL BOOKS! And it's fantasy! So much that kids actually WANT to live at Hogwarts (I'm one of them)

I think being a writer, is something you do to escape, some draw, some sing, some dance, some scream......and I write.
