NOTE: I wrote this a year ago(2013) but I just post it this year(2014).

I’m not really a K-POP fan or something in the first place but I know few Korean songs like “Gee” from SNSD and “Sorry Sorry” from Super Juniors. My life just goes like a normal girl not until I have searched this group page in my facebook that is named “EXO Planet”. I got curious about it because one of my close friends is a fan of them so I clicked it and “bwola”, I’m still not convinced about them. I just rolled down and rolled up and surf on the page then click and click until I came to a page that really caught my whole attention. It’s a page of one EXO member and this page turns out to be EXO's Xiumin’s page. I just don’t know what happened to me and I just can’t stop myself looking on his face. The first thing that popped out in my mind is that “he looks really familiar to me and I think I’ve seen him before but I just don’t know when and where” and also I thought of a weird thing like he’s from my unclear memory or something. I know it’s kind of old used line that guys says when they seen a girl that is his type but it’s not what I meant.. because he’s really something. Even though my close friend that is an EXO fan didn’t even introduced them especially him to me but.. I think I already knew him all along before. Weird right? Well, that’s what my mind tells me.

When I met again my close friend (referring to the close friend stated above) I asked her “Do you know Xiumin? He’s an EXO member right?” then she’s like “Waaah! How did you know him? Yes, he is.” Then I replied “It just happened that I got bored during our semester break and just open my facebook and got curious about the EXO you were talking about and then “poof!” I got stuck on Xiumin’s page.” She laughed at me. After that, she tells a lot about EXO and Xiumin, she also let me view some videos of EXO. Then that’s how my normal life as a girl turned out to be my EXOtic fan girl beginning.

Isn’t it just surprising that suddenly I heard news that one of my close friends is an EXOtic fan too like me?! I was just like “What’s happening??”. My close friend, let me call her S.G. told me that G.A. (the close friend I am talking about earlier) introduced EXO to her and that how it goes. At first, Suho was the one that caught her eyes but lately she noticed Sehun (that he often called Siwoon, a SuJu member) and switch to him. Her official bias is Sehun, G.A. with Baekhyun and me with Xiumin. If EXO says “We are one!” then we say “We are three!”.

After the following days, one of my close friends too, whom I called P.L, turns to be an EXOtic fan too. Her bias is Luhan. Now, we are four! By the way, one of my close friends too, whom I called F.D, turns to be like P.L. also. Her bias was Chen. Arasso, we are five!

Months passed and I discovered many things about EXO and especially about Xiumin. I got really inspired about them and especially him. There’s no doubt, I turn out to be his petite admirer ever since then, and even my co-EXOtic fan can tell it. I can’t really understand what kind of magic he did to me and I have been cast accurately in the heart. My heart’s beat stops when I’m looking on his cute pictures sealed with charisma. I can feel the butterflies in my stomach when it comes to him. I’m not really like this before! Even S.G. can say that, she even let me ate my words that I will never get inspired by anyone because I’m very choosy and I just rarely have crushes that takes too long but take a look at me now? I fell in love with a Korean Idol, an EXO member to be exact for almost 6 months already from now.

Because he inspired me a lot, as a payment I want to write a feature article about my beloved bias, Xiumin. I hope he can read this one day, even I know it’s impossible but still I’m hoping he will. So, EXO's BaoZi Xiumin, I hope you will appreciate this! :)

Can someone translate this to Korean?? (.TTT ^ TTT.)

Because I don’t know how, Korean is the fourth language for me. I’m just learning how to write Hangeul right now and I only knew basic words in Korean that I learned from few Fan Fiction Stories and Korean dramas. To the one who is willing to translate this, I’ll cook my special Adobo for you that is only limited because it is added with love from the bottom of my heart. Promise! I’ll cook it especially for you even if I have to fight a one on one battle with the strong enemy, King Oil that can burn my skin! Fighting! Someone? 제발? Out there? ? Translate this? Ahuhuhu.

“EXO's Xiumin: Invader of my Heart”

“We are one!Annyeonghaseyo!EXO ibnida!” this is the famous line of his Group. The group wherein serves as the bridge for me to see the guy who turns to be the first one who made me realize that “Love at first sight” is really true. He belongs to the other half of  EXO that promotes in China, EXO M, and that guy is no other than Kim Min Seok or mostly known as EXO's BaoZi Xiumin.

He is often called as “BaoZi” because according to his close friend that belongs also in EXO M, Luhan, his face resembles a steamed bun because of his white and round face. I can still remember in one of their interview on Yinyuetai, that when Luhan explains why he’s like a steamed bun, he shot a death glare to him but laughs after. He was also asked if it is okay for him to be called “BaoZi”, he paused for a while then replied “I’m satisfied”. I thought he doesn’t like to be called BaoZi but I’m glad he said he’s satisfied because that nickname is really cute for him. If I were to make a reflection about him on that interview, it shows how caring he is as a hyung to his dongsaengs, for an example, how he asked if Luhan is okay after drinking dou zhi er (fermented bean drink) that is really a hard drink (Kris even say it smells like vinegar and he even have the most reaction just by smelling it) and he even wipe the small droplets left by the drink on Luhan’s cheek. It’s so sweet of him. Then my mind starts wondering, I bet Xiumin’s future girlfriend or wife is really blessed to have him, I’m not saying lucky because if it’s lucky, she could just have him just by luck not by the blessing of God. What if.. that blessed girl is me? Okay, I’m just daydreaming. It’s really enchanting at the same time frustrating when you starts daydreaming about your bias in the extra solar planet made by your mind when you’re in love.

Before anything else, I’m really shocked when G.A. (one close friend of mine) told me that Xiumin was the eldest among the 11 handsome and charismatic members of EXO. You can’t blame me; he’s just too cute and cuddly to be the hyung but G.A. said many where tricked even her. See? How Xiumin looks very young on his age. He’s already 24 years old (actually, it’s 23 but when you’re in Korea, they added 1 year on your age because they added the 9 months of your existence when you’re still on your mother’s womb but I don’t know in other countries have this kind of belief too.) but looks like a 16 year old boy (or lesser according to many fans). I am really doubtful about his true age, is he really be 24? But, I often mistaken to be a high  school student though I’m already a College student, well, the biggest reasons are because of my petite height ,baby face appearance and my childish personality(according to them and they even told me I do baby talk on phone calls but seriously I’m not, sometimes XD). So, to clear things out, I changed my voice like a lady (I love impersonating different voices :D) and they was shocked and said “You’re voice changed a lot! It became mature!”. I want to laugh so hard back then but I ended up laughing silently that made me look crazy. Okay, enough about my funny trips in the past.

The one thing that made me so happy is that, on an interview in a magazine, he revealed that he’s ideal type is a Filipina! I can’t believe it! Seriously? I’m speechless. I hope it's true but if it's not, it's okay. After knowing that, I start to surf in the internet if that’s true and surprisingly it is! Then I searched more and more about him.

Then I found out, his true name is Kim Min Seok. He was born on March 26, 1990(Oh my, he’s 7 years older than me) and his Zodiac sign is Aries (do Aries and Sagittarius compatible? XD). His nicknames were, BaoZi(steamed bun), Lil’ fattie (his nickname in China), Mandoo(I don’t know what this means XD), and Chen calls him “King of Detail” because according to him, he’s very specific about sorting things. His personalities were, kind, funny, has a lot of funny gestures (said Luhan), clean and tidy but according to Lay, there’s a twist because he said that when he tried to lie on Xiumin’s bed, he noticed that his pillow smells saliva. Later, Xiumin admits that he often drools (even on airplanes). His blood type is B (mine is O, the universal blood type, wait.. do I have to mention mine? ) . His height is 173 cm (lesser or higher) and he weighs 65 kg/ 143 lbs (but I don’t know if he gain or loose weight this 2013). On January 26, 2011 he was revealed the 7^th member of the EXO Family and has a position of lead vocalist (he is responsible also for the shouting parts in their selected songs and he also said that shouting is his special talent) and dancing. His super power is Frost (his power really suited for their music video, Miracles in December, oh, I just love how he made the snow! :3)

Now, let’s went on his favorites. His favorite foods are, steamed buns (Oh my! I love eating steamed buns too! But it is called “Siopao” in our country), kimchi soup and miso soup prepared by his parents (awww J how sweet of him and spicy at the same time for the soup), and coffee (He like Capuccino same as me! :D). He also said that if there were a chance, he wants to have a coffee shop and give a taste of coffee to the other EXO members especially made by him. His favorite hobbies are to play soccer, eat delicious foods and coffee with Luhan, cleaning, organizing and shopping. His favorite color is blue and that’s when the color blue always reminds me of him. His favorite music is ballad (honestly, mine too, ever since I was a child, I really love singing ballad songs). He loves dancing (where his movement is rated “excellent”) and singing, by the way, he joined in SM Entertainment’s Everysing Contest in 2008 and won the 2^nd place by singing “Emerald Castle-Step”. His favorite cartoons are Spongebob and Baby Huiy (the Baby who wears blue) while his favorite movie is Cloudy with a chance of meatballs (he really loves food! Haha XD) . He loves Pumpkins (that moment when I wish I was a pumpkin).

About his dislikes, he doesn’t like it when people touch his face (I do feel other people who likes to squish his cheeks, it’s so squishy but let us respect him). Diet is the hardest thing for him to do, that’s why when the management told them to diet, and he really felt uneasy. When Tao and he shared a room, he can’t help but stare on Tao’s and later he admits he’s envious of it. His mother told him not to stand next to Kris and Tao because according to Mrs. Kim, it made him look shorter.

He knows martial arts, taekwondo, wushu, fencing, and his good at it (Omo! I can’t imagine how talented he is!). His role models are Super Juniors and JJ Lin. He is close with f(x) member Amber (where he is called Minseokie-oppa) and SuJu’s Henry Lau (singer of his favorite song “Trap”). He went to the same high school as Dongwoo (member of INFINITE).

EXO M revealed that he is one of the funniest and the strongest member of the group, strongest because when they had a contest where they rung a towel, he is the one who got the most water out of it. He maybe look small compared to the other members but believe me, he’s terrible. Kris stated that Xiumin’s true strength is he is approachable and understanding (Xiumin said that he would like to date Kris because he is tall and manly). Also, he is very obliging when taking good care of the Korean members. He is the one who wakes up early and after it, he tidies his bed. He takes a bath everyday (and he would take long time to finish said Chen).

I may have said a lot of things about him but that are not all and maybe I haven’t told and reached the half about him, I have lots of thing to know. That’s why, I want to meet him personally and know him more or if that’s too much, even just to see him one day will be fine with me. I really don’t know what I do really feel about him right now but the only thing I know, he is one of the special and the best thing that happened in my life. Without him, I may not be the person I am at this moment because with his own little ways, he doesn’t know but he changed me, he changed my whole life and encouraged me to become a better person and to be lighthearted that I never thought I would be. Without EXO and without him, my life would never been this exciting and wonderful. My life would be so monotonous.  

EXO’s BaoZi “Xiumin”, I would like to massively thank you for all the happiness and inspirations you sprinkled in my life. I’m very grateful that God, gave me a chance to see you even it’s just merely on pictures and videos, though sometimes, I really wished to see you right in front of my eyes but still, I’m happy with it. I do believe nothing is impossible yet.. right now I have no chance because I need to work hard also for my own future. Maybe if I’m already a Professional and had a stable job, I might go there in Korea just to see you. I bet that’s the right time to thank you personally for everything and to say this one word and nine letters to you. If I will see you on the future, I shall do anything to show how much I cared about you and how much I wanted to thank you, I am not doing that because I feel something for you rather I’m doing that as a payment for all the things you brought into my teenage life and perhaps that have something to do too. Maybe, on that time, you already found the girl you are searching for but still I’ll do it except showing how much I cared about you. If not yet, I’ll do everything to be the girl you are searching for and if I fail, I won’t regret it especially loving you. Yes, I rather do anything just for you to notice me or even for you to know someone like me exists than doing nothing and letting go the opportunity to be the one for you. At least I tried even I know it will all end up with a heartbreak. I don’t want to hide my feelings anymore because all my life I never had the chance to confess with anyone. You were the only one who made me realized that if I do love someone, I must have the courage to tell it so don’t keep it. So, I’m telling you right now, this very moment.. 사랑해요 시우민-씨!

I’ll end my article here about you, as of now; I do hope you’ll read this and I hope we’ll meet someday. The day when I can say that I’m already worthy for someone like you. 날 기달여,제발?
