"I who came from the other star" Others love this girl’s quirkiness. She is just about one of the strangest people out there. She talks to herself. Like a lot. Encourages herself. Scolds herself. If that doesn’t scream crazy we don’t know what does. She has fun doing things that most people would find downright embarrassing. Like showing off body hair.  Dancing like an idiot. Making the most unattractive faces possible. She is just a plain fool and it’s cute. As much as she embarrasses herself, it will always be cute because she’s so darn attractive and humorous. She was born in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul on August 10, 1988. She is the younger sister of, Lee Minho, who is an actor. Her father, Lee Wonbin, is an architect as well as a manager of a contracting company. Her mother, Lee Hyunjae, is a housewife and has taught opera classes. She was born into the Lee family as the only female heir. Her father, Lee Wonbin, payed little attention to her as an infant. To their father, the older brother Lee Minho was seen as the prized child. Though, their father did not forget about her. Since the Lee family was influential in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, she had to live up to the standards her older brother had set for her. She was trained in martial arts and drilled with the knowledge of different area from the age of three. Her mother, Lee Hyunjae, loved to shower her with love and affection. She was her pride and joy. The darling daughter she had always wanted.

Fate, however, had a different plan for their family. Their mother developed a severe form of cancer. She had fought as hard as she could, but her body grew weaker each day. When she was seven, her father had gone to meet her at the school and informed her of their mother’s death. It was a traumatic blow for her. Her mother was the only source of kindness besides her brother. She made a promise to her mother, on her funeral day, that she would abide by what she had taught her the short time they were together. About three years after the death of his first wife, Lee Wonbin remarried. Minyoung and  Minho were not fond of the new woman in their father’s life. She was abusive towards Minyoung simply because of her small stature as the youngest. That ended when she started having children. Daughter after daughter after daughter. She would try her hardest to make them the center of attention, pushing Minho and Minyoung to the side. However, their father didn’t feel the same way. He believed his elder children needed to be molded to protect their new sisters. So even though their step-mother was cruel, they grew fond of their half sisters and protected them.

She was inspired by her late mother to involve with the music field. Her will even grew bigger when her brother got started modelling and acting. She, herself had dance since she was seven, though not as proffesional dance. She auditioned for  S.M. Entertainment Casting System, auditioning by not singing but rather with her dinosaur impersonation followed by dancing and joined the company in 2008. She then underwent training for 5 years and 11 months She graduated from Jeongshin Women High School in 2013 and attended Chung-Ang University.

From the beginning, what caught our eye about Iwoo is how genuine he is in all his efforts. One of the great things about him is his sincere love for what he does. He hasn’t let anything damper his confidence. He doesn’t let possible embarrassment get in the way of having a good time. His natural confidence also really shined when he declared his love... for himself. Guess that’s what happens when you think you’re “SO COOL”. Although his confidence is phenomenal, he also has very down-to-earth tendencies and he has hinted at being more interested in the simpler things in life. He responds good-naturedly when his dongsaengs make jokes about him. He is tidy, it’s likely that he prefers his personal environment to be simple. Likewise, when it comes to ideal types, his is someone he can hug and who is comforting and if you’re the sort of person who prefers to wear jeans and a white t-shirt then you’re in luck because he would find that alone to be beautiful, along with a bright smile. In short his type of girl is a sporty girl!

He may not think that he’s the funniest, but don’t let his calm exterior fool you, he can be very playful when you least expect it. Behind that charming smile is a dorky laugh. Think he’s 100% normal? Think again. Although he may be one of the more quieter personalities, He definitely has a cheerfulness that comes out in some rather unexpected but pleasantly surprising ways. how they met: They met through her brother, Minho. Ilwoo is one of Minho's close friend in the field so he wanted his baby sister to meet the guy. In fact, he was not only going to introduce her to Ilwoo but to Kim Bum and Shinhye as well. So in a sunny day, Minho brought Minyoung to Kim Bum's birthday party at his house. The party was only for few invited people so it's not too crowded but the atmosphere was good enough. Minyoung got to know Kim Bum and Shinhye first, she really likes them except to the part where Kim Bum kinda throwing cheesy words to her. She feel like Kim Bum really suit his character in "Boys Before Flower", the women's lover. She excused herself and go to the toilet, after receiving some direction instruction from Kim Bum. Not long after Ilwoo came in. Minyoung, was clumsy and forgot to lock the toilet's door. Talking about bad timing, Ilwoo also went to the toilet and when he opened the door without hesitation, he saw Minyoung who was about to wear her short, luckily she already wear her . She let out a scream though it's not loud enough to beat the music that was playing inside the house. Took this as a cue, Ilwoo closed the door again and said sorry before walked to the main party again, forgetting that he wanted to pee. When the flustered Minyoung arrived to his brother, he quickly introduced her to the gasping Ilwoo. Being an outgoing girl, Minyoung held out her hand first and acted that nothing ever happened between them.
interactions: They have very different initial ideas when it comes to love. He goes towards the idea that love is slow; that it takes time to really be in love. She claims that love is fast because it is passionate. From the surface, Minyoung isn’t shy of expressing her affection over Ilwoo. She is always ready to help him. She also likes to whenever she has the chance. Sometimes, he denies the caring gestures, but he really does like them judging by the way he lets her attaches herself to him. She even does the old school trick of distraction then putting the arm around the other’s shoulder. Very smooth and open minded. In the inside, Ilwoo cares and adores Minyoung like she is his sister. She on the other hand obviously cares A LOT about him, more than a sister should about her brother. She’s not like him in the sense that he loves hanging around and being with her sisteer. She’s more of the “he’s my guy, back off” type. She admires him, to the point where is scares him off to some extent. It’s somewhat obvious in the way she sometimes acts around him when together. She will always find, or try to find her way to him, whereas he is seen hanging out with everyone else but her. It’s almost like she is secretly saying, “Ilwoo Oppa love me, and only me”. He thought maybe she just wants a little bit more of his love and attention. He obviously cares for her, but maybe not as extreme as hers for him. And at one point he realized she feel weird without her around, caring for him and no one will ever gives him full attention and affection like her, that girl who didn't shy to start making the first move.

He’s adorable everyone knows that, but there’s more to just a pretty face. He’s something I look for in a guy, not the cuteness part, but personality wise. His personality is what fits the category as a perfect guy, and also something mothers' wishes to see. Everyone thought he would be shy and cutesy whatnot, but really like people said don’t judge a book by its cover, just because someone has a pretty face and a baby face doesn’t mean they will act all cutesy.  He is mature, very chill, very polite, and possibly sarcastic here and there. He’s so dorky, you can tell he wants to be active, wants to talk more, and he’s getting better at it. With his derpy laughs, just everything about him is just so entertaining. He can be dorky with his brothers, and just the way he’s so caring to them.

He is known to be very polite, very kind, and he has such a pure heart. He’s so hardworking, and even when tons of fans gather around him and make him feel uncomfortable he still manages to put a smile on his face… That is something people truly adore, and feel sad about because even in pain yet he can always smile through that because he’s so strong, something we admire so much. He is omeone who is sweet, polite, kind, and will always smile and try not putting people down. The way he cares about all his brothers, his best friends, his roommate, everyone, it’s such a site to see.

how they met: Luhan and Minyoung met during their trainee years. Minyoung was a trainee earlier than Luhan. In a rainy day, still a normal schedule that Minyoung had to follow again that day. She had a dance class and while in the class, while waiting for the dance trainer some girls keep talking about a cute boy gonna join them. Minyoung just shrugged it off, she listened to some songs while waiting, immersed in her own world. Then the trainer came and the class went on normally until a figure barged into the room, panting, his hand hold on to the opening door. The moment she set off her eyes on him, she found him pretty, even more than her maybe. That doe eyes. That guy introdued himself as a new trainee and he is sorry for late, he got lost. Good thing the trainer in a good mood, he asked Luhan to proceed with the others. That day they will do a couple dance, being a to some lovey dovey couples in the class. The trainer himself pinpointed, choosing the couple to his liking. The first was the new bot Luhan and Minyoung. So, they got to know each other through the couple dance assignment they got.
interactions: Minyoung and Luhan are friends. Even from the beginning the two seemed really close, probably owing to the fact that their age are not much different and apparently have a shared interest in dancing. And okay, yeah, maybe Luhan is a little more into skinship when it comes to Minyoung...maybe he’s a lot more into skinship than Minyoung is...that doesn’t mean that Minyoung doesn’t like him, right? No, this is definitely a friendship where they both like each other, but maybe one of them is just a little bit more obvious than the other. If you ever wanted to see the meaning of thirst, you really just need to look no further than Luhan towards Minyoung. You would honestly think that inside Luhan’s hands are magnets that are physically compelled to touch Minyoung whenever possible. Clearly Luhan’s never learned how to be subtle, and he certainly increased his obviousness all over day by day. Luhan’s living the dream, and he knows it. Now before you get all upset over Minyoung not paying Luhan any attention whatsoever, never fear! Minyoung does like Luhan, he’s just not as painfully obvious about it as Luhan is! Minyoung seems to really respect Luhan’s personality as she complimented him on having a very kind-hearted, well-tempered personality.

trainee life: She lived in dorm and she faced many normal trainee hardship that might not need to mention because everyone should have know it by the time. As the group's dancer, she has improved to such a distinct point. The girl can m o v e. And combined with her body makes for a very happy audience. That point aside though, she really is good. Compared to her early trainee days, she moves with a lot more power now, and there is a lot more fluidity in her movements. She’s definitely a natural, and seems a bit more versatile than the other dancers even. This is definitely noticeable. The trainer even compared her to SNSD's Hyoyeon. At this point, the only real thing separating her and Hyoyeon is years of Hyoyeon's proffesional experiences versus her couple years of stepping it up. This only proves to us what a natural she is. She was cast in few K.will's You Don't Know Love mv and The Heirs drama prior to her debut with the group.
