So, today is the 5 year anniversary of AFF being in existence, and I'm so greatful to this site.

I've met and made friends with so many people. I've been able to write, which I never thought I could do, and people are actually reading and loving what I do and that makes me happy. I get to read fanfictions all day and every day. I never get bored with this site. It always has new surprises for me. So, how did I find this site? Well...

It was January, 2013. I had just begun to be a fan of SNSD. I was really intrigued with SNSD and the whole concept of Kpop. And particularly loved(and still do) two members: Kim Hyoyeon and Lee Sunny. Now, I had heard of fanfiction before, so I entered in Google "Hyoyeon Sunny Fanfiction" and the first search was "HyoSun Stories - Asianfanfics.com".

I clicked on it, and was FASINATED by this new thing I had found. There weren't a lot of fanfics for HyoSun (there still isn't enough but that's a different story), but I read them all, even if they weren't finished. So, from January to September, I discovered more groups and more ships and pairings that I absolutely adore.

Now, you might be wondering why I wrote January to September. Well, there was a small period of time, between mid-Sept and mid-Oct, where I couldn't read the fics I usually read. You see, I didn't actually have an account on Asianfanifics, at the time. I just read them. So when I found out that I couldn't my fics, I was devastated.

In October, something happened to me. I was sad that I couldn't read what made me happy. So, I decided to do something about it. On October 15, 2013, I created an account. Now, I only planned to use my account just to read my fics. I really didn't do much from October to the end of November, but it became so much more than that.

I commented on a fic called "Entangled", and I met my first friends while writing that one comment. Since then I have made more friends and they are so sweet and supportive, I can't thank them enough for making my day a little more interesting.

I even started writing my first fic, "Complete", which seemed impossible to me. Now, "Complete" has 8 chapters, 27 subscribers, 4 upvotes, and 871 views(and growing). I have 5 other fics now, 2 one-shots and 3 on-going, and they're getting a lot of love.

Let me just recap. Because of Asianfanfics, I have friends who I love dearly, readers who love my stories, and stories that get my creative energy alive and going. And, not to mention the stories I've subscribed to. They get me excited everytime I see a new story update.

So, in theory, Asianfanfics changed my life. I can't thank this site enough. I love you so much and that will never change.
