There was this hater

So I’m gonna say beforehand that this is long and might take your forever to read, and may bore you halfway but I’m still going to blab. This is sort-of a rant but it's a true-to-life-story (Oh, the drama XD) Actually this is a recount of events that took place 2 days ago—April 4th.

That day, my mood was far from being pleasant. I was hoarded with paperworks I don't want to even touch and it's so hot you’d want to have your whole house centralized with aircon but no, that's a big NO NO, because you’d want to slice your throat open once your bill settles in. So as I was saying, I was in a bad mood. But then there’s this that caught my attention:

cont.

I found this interesting and looked up the mentioned account and whoa. Believe it or not, 10 second tops, you’ll have tons of new tweets related to her. Later on it started to frustrate me because one got on top of the other and digging through the tweets to find the root cause isn't getting any easier with piles of new tweets coming in so I went to the "original" tweeter (I won't mention her name tho) the one who posted the above tweet and did my back-reading on her timeline.

As I read on, I found the root of all these. It was Original's reaction for the poor and not accommodating replies a PR account was giving to kpop fans expressing their hurt about the KhunFany relationship whatsoever. It was not shallow, petty, nor pointless. She was just righteous and was asking for fairness or empathy. And as a PR account of a supposed big company, you'd expect least of issues with these. She was even sarcastic to some point.

Umm, let's say for example your beloved dog; the one you got when it was only a puppy, which you raised, bathed and even cuddled to sleep, or a family member (let's just stick to the dog shall we?) just died, and some random people you don't even know sees you wallowing for your lost. Then they started laughing you off and giving you shts such as "I don't care about how you feel...." How then would you feel?

Let's call this account (the one without sympathy, empathy and everything) "PR."

Let's face it, some cannot accepth the fact that Khun and Tiffany are finally together but let's still love them eventually. So PR tweeted an update that the two were together without quoting it from a source. And mind you, she doesn't know them. She said so herself.

Quote"not really familiar with them. Dami nga yung . Whoever that 'Toria' she's lucky and loved by fans:)" [Not really familiar with them. I do see alot of #KhunToria. Whoever that 'Toria' she's lucky and loved by fans:)]

Aww~ She was sweet... Until she starts ing everyone who was broken. And yes, she has broken grammars, too. I did mention it was a PR account of a supposed big company, right? Right. How reliable and credible. But people say the account isn't related with the company anymore. Idk and Idc.

Anyway, let's just forget her. I don't really have anything to do with her.

So we now have three accounts: Original, PR and hopesantiago. (well, two. Since PR's out of the picture.)

So then how did Hope got caught up in this mess? (Sorry I wasn't able to get screencaps of Hope's tweets before she got, ehem, banished. XD lmfao) I believe that the conversation was between Original and PR—when Original stepped in for the "rudeass, butthurt fans"—as they put it (Hope and PR.) Somewhere along the way, Hope's name entered the scene. She (Hope) joined the conversation (PR had dropped out so it was only Original and Hope) and later on she called Original "jeje," well not only Original but she said it pertaining to all fans (kpop fans idk. I'd put it as 'fans' because I'm not quite sure. But sure as hell she said jeje fans.)

You can see it here on Original's tweet:

It reads: "Guys, I'm a jeje fangirl." —note sarcasm.

Jeje is a tagalog word which can be offensive, or not (if it's said in a joking way and usually WITHIN a circle of friends). Otherwise it becomes offensive and even discriminatory because it could be equivalent to the world illiterate (as you can see how the words were spelled,) or retard or or whatever condescending word telling you how fncked up your spelling or grammar or language is; I hope you get what I mean. Take these for example:

"Yuck, you're disgusting." "How stupid are you on spelling?" "I can't understand a word you texted. Don't fncking shortcut the word."

OR a Bieber hater saw you listening to Biebs and say "Justin Bieber? Eww, jeje." (sample only guys)

I read and read and read (because I don't want to be yapping when I don't even know what the heck was going on) and voila, I made up my mind. "I'm in."

It was when she started firing on anyone who tries to defend Original. Original didn't ask for it though, she just asked us to report her for an offensive tweet, containing death threat whatsoever:

HOPE: Try mo pakamatay tingnan natin kung tulungan ka nyan o dalawin sa burol mo hahahahaha!! [Why don't you try killing yourself let's see if they [Khun and Fanny] will help you or come to your wake hahahahaha!!]

ORIGINAL:YOU JUST CROSSED A LINE. Please be reminded that I hold no grudges for the following idols you're saying [Khun and Fanny] but wishing death is not something I will ever take for granted. Don't you ever make it a ing joke. I am serious.

And thus, the very first photo, the tweet to her followers emerged (the one above these all.)

Again, Original did not staged a war. She didn't even encourage it and keeps on telling us to stop picking on her already. She simply asked for help to have this girl, Hope's madness, stopped. Report her. Just report her friggin account.

(Nevermind R4KZ N4 L4NGZ N4TIN ITUUUUU. It just mean ignore. Ignore after reporting. And you see, the sarcasm again was back there by typing words in a jeje manner)

But nonetheless, we still continued the not-war. We were just pissed off at Hope. For crying out loud. She's pathetic. She'd curse relentlessly at you. She's sarcastic, she's arrogant. She's everything that's sure to make your blood boil. (Okay, now I'm bashing her. I'm ashamed. ㅠ_ㅠ)

She goes off blabla this, blabla that. She's so full of herself. At first I thought her only issue was Khun and Fanny (and I wouldn't have meddled in if that's the case cause I'm happy for them so who cares.) But it turns out she grudges on the whole lot of Kpop (yes, the way I see it it's way bigger than hate or loathe, it's grudge.) What is wrong with her? Even our very own local personalities, she grudges. Some say she's sick and mad.

Shed's say things like your idol doesn't even know you so why do you like them so much (duh, we know that. Does Sehun know I exist? Sure, he knows he has a fan somewhere over here but he doesn't know me. Think I didn't know that?) or on our DPs—Using photos that aren't yours... posers!! (I'm using Fanny's picture as my DP, yes, but have some brain to know that it's not me. And what do you care? Jealous much.) and even tries drama thanking us for the unending notification she's getting.

Quoted from a kpop stan: "It's so stupid when the world is hating on one person and she's all woo i'm famous thanks for the support. What support."

She moved on to brag about being a student of a prestigious college here in the Philippines. She added things like, "You don't know who I am." "Off to shop." "I am very rich, I can even treat you." and bla bla bla. (So does belonging to that college gives her the right to just curse at anyone and call kpop jeje? Girl, there's this thing called Hangul, it's there language.)

The hillarious part (atleast for me) was when someone from the "prestigious college" she claimed to have come from began tweeting. "I'm a student from [insert college here] too, "K-Pop Addict". You got a problem with that?" I myself came from somewhere big and sure as heck it didn't stop me from being a kpop addict.

Gawd. She was unstoppable. The btch was unstoppable. These are some of her antics:

"Nakakatawa mga jejemon Kpop fangirls. Mukhang tanga." [Jejemon fangirls are hillarious. They look stupid/They are stupid.]

"Does hating me makes you pretty?"

"Make my name trend, come on." (something like that) (heck the btch is also a whre. famewhre)

"So what do i need to call you then? FANTARD FREAK??" (anon replied: YOUR JOKE IS SO LAME. TRY HARDER, HOPE. HARDER.)

And some more of the replies: (selected, the ones already in English)

"It was supposed to be MAKE. "Does hating me MAKE you pretty." (And she's calling us jeje when she can't even type out a clean grammar?!)

"No but we do it in hopes of helping your grammar" (on no. 2)

"Pointing out that our idols don't know us doesnt change the fact that you're a pressed little hater"

"We support our idols not because we want them to notice us. we support them because it makes us happy to see them happy."

"Our idols may not know that we exist but at least they make us happy and they inspire us to be a better person"

"PLS DO CHANGE YOUR NAME Hopeless Santiago"

Oh, if only I could post and translate all the tweets that were still there. I feel like crying whenever  reread them. You would really feel the fullness and sturdiness of all the stans (not just exo stans but as well as the whole k-stans.) The unity was overwhelming.

But yeah I admit, too, that it was kind of pathetic. We shouldn't have let her get under our skin but you just can't ignore the surge to voice out yourself. It even ended in a pretty good way. Different stans became one. It was not a petty fanwar where we fight how SNSD is way better than 2NE1 and vice versa (ugh seriously,) or how much more handsome is blabla group members compared to blabla group members. Even for just a couple of hours, I was so happy for the unity.

Hope did one good thing after all. (Aside from entertaining us)

I tweeted my last words to her even after we all learned that her account was already suspended. In there I said, "We're still here. I mean, all of us. Kita mo, buo kami. May nagawa ba yang kakatalak mo? WALA" [MUCH sensible translation: We're still here. I mean, ALL of us. You see, we weren't broken, divided or even shook by you. Does, and could, any of your hating change that fact? NO.]

I know it's not the best ending line ever but hey it wasn't war. Have a good day!
