Hello there!  For those of you who write things other than fanfic, I have a website/forum that I made last year that may interest you.  It is called The Raven and the Writing Desk.

On The Raven and the Writing Desk, you can post anything you write for others' critiques or just to put it out there.  You can also RP there (that's where I usually spend my time).  There will be competitions where you basically just get bragging rights and power over the next competition if you win.  You can talk about anything you want in the shoutbox with the members and post questions or discussion topics in the General board or in a specific topic.

There is a fairly big poetry section as well, if you would like to post poetry.  We also focus on character development (my favorite part) and grammar rules (also one of my favorite parts. Can you tell I want to be an editer?)

The website will be linked to an upcoming author's website soon, YJ Sargis at yjsargis.com.  We also have a self-published author on the site, Idazle Hunter.  You can ask them both questions about their editing process and what they are going through to get their work out there into the world.

The Raven and the Writing Desk is a friendly community that died out a little while ago.  I am working on bringing it back to life, so suggestions on how to make it better are very welcome.
