I am the worst when it comes to coming up with character names. I get so frustrated over it, to the point where I feel like abandoning the story.

What goes on in my head during this process:

1. That name sounds stupid.
2. It's so over used.
3. OMG WHAT CAN I DO?!
4. What? Who would have that kind of name?
5. Too common.
6. I can't use a friends' name. What if they find out I wrote a fanfic?! (I have a friend who bashes fanfics)
7. I can't. No just no.
8. A character name from a show no one watches anymore? lol Franny Fine from the Nanny, the name before Kathy
9. Go consult a friend.
10. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE?!

The main character's name of Barriers is actually my name. Yesm my name is Christina, but my last name is not Lee. Honestly I feel that people replace the characters' given name with their name, just so they can be paired up with their biases. At least that's what I do. :X
