Okay so I haven't been on for a while as my son has hit his terrible 2's (not quite 2 yet, but he's an earlier starter) amongst other tragic family issues.

but I have been reading and writing (purely , as it's easier to finish, then my other stories at the moment). So today I was looking around AFF when I noticed this little icon in the corner. I clicked on it and it showed me a small list of AFF badges. I have the pioneer one as I joined AFF a year after it's creation, so I've been around nearly 4 years now, although I've been writing fan fiction in general since 2005 (so about 9 years xD)

but my question is (to anyone willing to answer) do these badges do anything or are they just a nice personal achievement?

If anyone knows, let me know as I'm really curious about it.
