Are you more of a reader or a writer?
I'm more of a fanfic writer, but I love reading books.

When did you first start reading/writing fanfiction?
I started reading around 2006, began writing around 2007-2008 (mostly anime and book fandoms), then I started Kpop fanfiction in 2011.

What’s the first fanfiction you ever read/wrote? What is it about?
The first one I ever read was probably an anime one, like Naruto or Inuyasha probably. I don't remember what it was about. The first one I ever wrote was a Starfire/Robin Teen Titans fan fic, based on the Cartoon Network version. It was a one-shot. The first full-length fanfic I wrote was a percy jackson Nico/OC, slight AU. Nico inadvertantly saves a mortal girl and stuff happens. It got nominated for a veritas award, which I think was the PJ Fandom's fan fic awards thing.

What ratings do you read/write?
I read pretty much all genres, but I mostly write ratings no higher than PG-13/15

What was your first fandom?
Hiiiigh School Musical! But the first fandom I ever wrote for was Teen Titans.

List all the fandoms you have read/written in.
Read: Teen Titans, Percy Jackson, Naruto, Inuyasha, D. Gray-Man, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, High School Musical, Harry Potter, Tangled, Frozen, Rurouni Kenshin, The Hunger Games, Eon, Sherlock, Les Miserables, SHINee, MBLAQ, TVXQ/DBSK, EXO, BAP, Got7, CN Blue, 2AM, Girls Generation, f(x), Yuzuru Hanyu, Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Reply 1997, Heartstrings, etc.

Written: Teen Titans, Percy Jackson, Rurouni Kenshin, Fullmetal Alchemist, D.Gray-Man, SHINee, MBLAQ, f(x) a little, EXO..

What is your favorite fandom to read/write for?
I love reading Sherlock fics because they tend to always be really well-written. Fullmetal Alchemist fics on ff.net have been great, too, as well as some Gale/Madge fics from the Hunger Games fandom. As for writing, I like writing for the EXO and SHINee fandom.

Any fandom you would like to write in?
I really wanna try writing for the Got7, CN Blue, f(x), and BTS fandoms more, but I really feel like I don't know enough about them, sooo idk.

What was your first ship?
Starfire/Robin.

List all the pairings you have read/written in.
Pairings read: Yonghwa/Shinhye, Yonghwa/Seohyun, Seohyun/Changmin, Seohyun/Kyuhyun, Yunho/Boa, Kai/Sulli, Taemin/Sulli, Minho/Sulli, Chanyeol/Sulli, Taemin/Naeun, Taemin/Krystal, Jessica/Heechul, Jonghyun/IU, Key/Eunji, Henry/Amber, Kris/Amber, Victoria/Nichkhun, Onew/Luna, SeKai, LayHan, EXO/OC, SHINee/OC, 2AM/OC. Some non-Kpop pairings that I read are: Roy/Riza, Edward/Wnry, Mei/Al, Kenshin/Kaoru, Sakura/Sasuke, Sakura/Naruto, Naruto/Hinata, Tenten/Neji, Starfire/Robin, Percy/Annabeth, Inyuasha/Kagome, Ron/Hermione, Hermione/Draco, Gale/Madge, Sherlock/John, Sherlock/Molly, Sherlock/Irene, etc.

Pairings I've written for: Mostly SHINee/OC and EXO/OC, tbh .__.

What is your favorite pairing to read/write for?
I like reading YunBoa and LuNew fics. I like to write EXO/OC mostly... although I want to try writing Chanlli and YunBoa fics more, too.

Is there any pairing you refuse to read/write?
Well, it's not that I actively refuse to read them, but some pairings just aren't my cup of tea, ya feel?

What do you think of het stories? Slash/? Femslash/Yuri?
Het Stories: Well, pretty much all my stories are het stories just because that's what I've had the most experience in.
Stories: They're great, as well.
Yuri Stories: Equally as cool.

What is your favorite genre?
Drama.

What is your least favorite genre?
Paranormal... I feel like it's super hard to pull off, and as a result, lots of paranormal fics end up... sub-par, I guess.

Any genre you would like to read/write for?
That being said, I'd love to try writing a paranormal story. But like I said, I really don't think I could do it well, so I tend to avoid it a lot.

List all of your favorite writers.
ALL of them? Uh... kfanfiction is one of my absolute favorites. Also kpoppunks, jbmaunier, writingcrazed... my friend baerineul9095 was good stories, haz-spaz seems very promising, Pab0Panda. I also have a lot of favorite writers on fictionpress.com, but a lot of them have deleted their accounts because they've started getting a lot of their stuff published.

Which writer inspires your own work?
KFANFICTION.

What story has the most impact to you, so much that you remember it all the time?
There was an FMA fic I once read. I can't remember the title that much, but I remember it all the time ebcause it was written so beautifully and had a great message.

What is website you use most to read/write fanfiction?
AFF and FF.net

Any certain things you avoid reading/writing about?
Crack.

What do you enjoy best about fanfiction in general?
The genial community of fans that shares in your enthsiasm for your story :)

Do you have any fanfiction pet peeves?

When people put romanized Korean in their stories, it bothers me. Also, heavily-manipulated layouts annoy me as well, and when they put music on their stories, the music that you can't turn off. I also really don't like character charts because it completely defeats the purpose of putting up a story in the first place.

How long should a chapter be?
Between 1,500-10,000 words. Most of my chapters are about 3,000-8,000 words. But it's short enough to be actually called a chapter and long enough for something to actually happen, and something that will actually advance the plot, nawm sayin'?

Have you ever flamed someone?
Ok... yeah I did, once when I was like 14, but in my defense, I was flaming someone who posted up a fic whose sole purpose was to, in turn, flame the entire fandom.

Have you ever been flamed?
Once or twice, on Tumblr.

Do you roleplay online?
No.

(Writers Only)

How many published fanfictions have you written?
80 published fanfics on AFF, 3 on ff.net that I can no longer find lol.

Which one of your fanfictions has the most words? The most views? The most comments? The most upvotes? How many?
Most words: "The Siren's Cry" with 200,000+ words

Most views: "The Siren's Cry" with 49,310 views as of March 30 @ 8:37 PM PDT

Most comments: "The Siren's Cry" 997 comments

Most upvotes: "The Siren's Cry" 404 upvotes.

At the moment, which one of your fanfictions is your favorite/you are the most proud of? (you can include unpublished fanfictions)
"The Siren's Cry". Completely beside the fact that it got me featured, I feel the most proud of this story because it was the first one that I honestly worked hard to improve at. A lot of my previous stories were written as requests or just for fun. When I first started writing "The Siren's Cry" I honestly didn't think it would turn out like this because I was so unsure of th eplot line when I was outlining.

Out of all characters you have written, which one do you feel you identify the most with?
I identify most with the OC in my Chen one-shot "A Prickly Problem" and with So Hwan, the OC from "Behind the Scenes" and with Lay in "The Siren's Cry"

Do you use beta reader?
I... I guess I beta my own stuff.

What warnings have you used on your stories?
None, really.

Do reviews affect how you write in any way?
Yes, to a certain degree. I like reviews because it gives me a perspective on my stories that I don't get from comments, and it's a good way for me to see critical points in my story. Sometimes when I'm too close to my own writing, I can't see its shortcomings.

What makes you happy the most as a writer?
That moment when I'm outlining a story and I have a huge epiphany about how I want it to go. Aside from that, seeing people actually read my writing makes me happy, too.

Do you generally outline your fanfictions or do you prefer to write spontaneously then revise?
I usually outline, first. If it's a short story, I just jot down a quick, 1-paragraph version of the story and then I start thinking about how I want to arrange it. For long stories, I break the outline up into chapters and sections. I usually write spontaneously when I get writers' block, though, an I am trying to get into the habit of writing spontaneously more often. I'm bad, seriously, I edit while I write :P

Have you ever stolen something from another person’s work?
I'm sure a lot of my stories will sound similar because I get inspired by things that I read, but I wouldn't actively steal from another fic.

What do you feel is your biggest challenge when writing?
Focusing on the bigger picture.

Do you have any certain ritual to do before/while/after you write?
Before I write, I always close down all the tabs on my computer and then open up just one, blank document. Then, I write the story's working title at the top of the document and then follow it up with the outline. During muy writing, I don't usually have a special ritual, but I'll normally sit there until I write as much as I possibly can. After writing, no special rituals, either. If the story is finished, I'll copy it into AFF and do my editing in that page. If it's not done, I'll post it into a private blog post and then edit it there.

Do you actively advertise your story or request for reviews/upvotes?
I've only advertised once. I used to do a lot of shameless self-advertising in the blogs, but I'm too lazy now XD I do request reviews a lot, but upvotes, only sometimes...
