writing styles.

As some of you may have noticed, my writing styles have changed over the years (if you guys have stuck with me since then, then thank you so so so much ilu yes yes. I used to write really simply but now after I’ve observed so many different kinds of writing styles from different authors and fanfic writers, my writing style has changed drastically.

I’ve gone from writing like:

Kyungsoo turned his innocent eyes to meet Jongin’s. He blinked for a few seconds to take in what he said, and his lips smiled pathetically as if he didn’t understand what his lover just said.

To:

It’s always been like this between the two of them – that was one trait they shared in common: pain. They liked to give themselves and each other pain in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, it would give erasure or forgetfulness. Even just a blur, a little blur would be good enough to nub the pain that drives Luhan to his knees at the end of each of Sehun’s lifetimes.

Now that I look back and see the comparison in the way I write, I kind of… I don’t know, try to write with more air and more words in an attempt to make it sound more artistic?

I’m just kinda curious—which of my writing styles do you like better, the one that is plain and simple or the one that is more…artistic? I’m really curious o u o

Both of them are good. I don't know maybe it's the fact that you've been writing for so long that you adapt/evolve? :)

Both of them r honestly good. Theyre both different but i think those two wtiting styles should be used depending on the situation n concept. If its fluff or drama then the first one should be used. If its angst or some hardcore drama then the second one should be used.
