HELP ME OUT PLEASE! (URGENT)

So guise I need your help. I have this assignment in my creative writing class to write an investigative journal piece and I need to conduct some research for it.

The topic of my piece revolves around kpop, and what I’m trying to find out is why more kpop groups/artists don’t tour the U.S more and when they do why they tend to tour in California(L.A) and New York.

So I made three short polls on tumblr to help me with my research and I’d be really happy if you could go help me out and take part in them. The polls can be found here. (You don't have to have a tumblr to take part in the polls)

I also want to ask around and get peoples opinions on the topic, so if your interested in helping me or want to give your opinion contact me here and if you don't have a tumblr, post something down below and i'll get back to you.

THANKS A MILLION <3

The main reasons are money and marketing. Since k-pop recently has become more global, more k-pop groups and artists have just now started to really have tours outside of Southeast Asia. In the past, it's very likely that companies were skeptical of touring and promoting outside of certain parts of Asia, due to the fact that they were unsure of how the group/artist would be received among a different audience. A lot of time, money, and resources go into tours and stuff like that, and a company wouldn't want their efforts (especially their money) to be wasted on a project that they know is more than likely going to fail.

This also relates to why U.S. tour locations tend to be just "LA" (I put quotes because a lot of the times, the venue isn't even actually in LA), and New York. Companies know that these two areas have a decently sized k-pop fanbase, so they automatically became go-to tour locations. It's because like I said, companies don't like wasting money. They need to pick locations in which they know the venue will get sold out. You get what I'm saying?

In short, it's all related to money basically.
