#AFF5Years  (decided to do this because bored and i've been on here long enough.) 

How and when I came across this site:

In two thousand and eleven, doesn't feel so long, but time went really fast. I came to know about this site while I was browsing through fan fiction. It just happened to bring me here when I clicked a fan fic link, and I was really intending to just read the really good fan fic. I wasn’t expecting to join the site. One time to my dismay the fan fic prequel was found to be “friend’s only” so that is why I decided to make an account in the first place. I decided that it was also a good idea since I disliked the idea of being a silent reader. Then I was more of a regular commenter, and was slowly developing and learning through fan fiction. Reading is one of my favourite things to do. And fan fiction is certainly one of the best pieces of writing I’ve had pleasure to come across. I love writing but never had confidence to share my work, until recently. I made a few great friends and spoke to some awesome people! <3

My first username was:

xyummyloverx, lmao I was a kid back then, ya feel me, I'm still a child at heart so I don’t blame myself for choosing a dumb username, but I’ll never get over it though. It was a (embrassing) username I used for quite a while and it had something to do with me being a sweet tooth. Which I still have a for sweet food. Yum. My current username means 'the voice that comes from my heart' (or inner sense sounds like 'innocence' which is my fave word)

I continue to stay:

Although I’ve had my share of hiatuses and moments when I think I’d leave the site. I continue to stay on this site for my friends. I have a LJ but I don’t use that so much. I find this simpler. I have left comments on stories and the memories keep me here. I will continue to stay as long as I can. Maybe in future I won’t be as active, but I’ll keep the account and the content.

My favourite things about the site: 

I like that we get Karma (lol) It is a straightforward site with easy handling so I’ve always managed to find stuff and writers without wasting time and confusing myself. I’m glad they brought the comment reply system. That was needed ever since I first joined lol. 

I would love to see on the site in the future:

I don’t know really, to be honest anything good or creative would be cool. Like is there a way we can have a theme/background for our profiles? That’d be nice. We could totally make green AFF to another colour. I don’t mind green at all, just a suggestion. I don’t really like changes, personally. But if they awesome changes then that’s fab! ^^ Other people have some great sugesstions too, I would love to see them happen. 

Kind messages:

Sites like these are great way for people all over the world to come together and share their work with people with similar interests. We all put so much effort and this is really one way that allows it to pay off. This site is my friend along a length of time so yeah, I have a soft spot. My great ideas and inspiration have sprung to life and my inner fan girl has taken flight many times, thanks to this site and lovely people and fan fiction! I Hope AFF keeps making progress  <3 Happy Anniversary! :D
