I'm not expecting anyone to read or comment on this, but this website is quite meaningful to me and I was like, why not? A lot of people have started doing the tag and I wanted to join in the fun too haha (Original blog post: http://www.asianfanfics.com/blog/view/815301)

I'll answer the questions first before starting on my little story(:

1. How and when I came across AFF: I remember it was because of a fanfic called What Is Love? which features EXO and their supernatural powers. I think that was like two years ago, not too long after EXO debuted. It was on my timeline and I was in the mood to read so I clicked on it. Never have I thought that I would be into this black hole of amazing-ness haha.

2. Why I continued to stay: Because reading about my oppas and unnies are a lot more interesting than reading those books in libraries. Haha joking, but really, why leave? It turned a little bad, but the good and amazing fics are still floating around, so I'm staying for those. ^^

3. My favourite things about the site: I don't know, all the beautiful SHINee fanfics? I use the website mostly for reading and fangirling purposes, but I'll try the other links soon.

4. Something I would love to see in the future: A seperate option for various fics/posts. Like if we wanna create actual fanfics we can choose the option "Write Story", if we wanna create fact pages we can choose that option, layout shops can have another seperate page, so on and so forth. It makes searching a lot easier as well in my opinion. But I'm sure it's diffcult to create all those even though I don't study website creating...

My Little AFF Adventure:

So at first I was just a silent reader before I decided to joined on December 30 2012. I joined because I wanted to comment on Twist and Turn by Shadowyin (It's good, trust me). Then I started to love reading, and I ended up writing my own fanfics as well. It was because of AFF I discovered my love for writing. I am never much of a speaker, and I always find penning my thoughts down a lot easier than saying them out loud. Slowly I gathered up the courage to post my fics online. I started with my 20 Day Writing Challenge which failed miserably haha. Then I accepted a challenge to write about SeoKyu couple in my "Don't Say Goodbye" fic. That was when I really loved writing, and it became my dream to be a writer of some sorts.

After becoming a writer, I found inspiration in everything I see. It was hard for me to turn them into a story, but I kept these little quotes on my phone, hoping that one day I can use them or turn them into an inspiring story. Also, writing has turned me into a bookworm haha. I started to make weekly trips to the library in search of great reads. I usually pick up those that are sad and mellow, or a novel equivilant of a self-help book. My thoughts started to differ from my peers', but never have I once regretted it. It was because of writing and reading I start to do a lot of thinking. Thinking about life lessons, and maturing as I do so. (Okay maybe if you read my tags on tumblr, I don't seem like a mature person. But hey I'm really not that bad) If not for AFF, I wouldn't have discovered my love for writing.

And now, I'm enrolled in a course that would allow me to write as many inspiring stories as I want. (I'm in Film, Sound and Video in Ngee Ann Polytechnic) I'm sure of my goal as a scriptwriter, to create stories that can reach out to millions. Without AFF, I would never have thought about writing any scripts, or stories.

I'm currently preparing another big story to post on AFF. It currently has no plot, but I don't really intend for it to have a plot. It's kind of like a one-shot collection that is linked to one another, though I'm sure things will change as I write them out haha. I'm an indecisive kid, don't judge. I hope I'll be able to think of a proper opening soon. It's usually the introduction that's the most difficult for me. Once I start writing the start of a story, everything falls together as I write. Refer to my previous blog post if needed hehe.
