Exciting Saturday (Movie Date)

Teheee. Keeper had a movie marathon with sis yesterday. We watched Divergent from 5:20 to 7:30pm then Captain America from 8:00 to 10:00 pm at the cinema.

Yayayayayay!  Sis is the best! She just told mom that we're going to watch (a feat I am so incapable of doing) and mom didn't protest. This Keeper is not allowed to watch any movies until I finish my analysis. So yeah, sis woke me up and just laid down our itinerary for the day xD Shopping plus movies. I am so blessed! (I'm lame. I never tell my parents what I want.)

I liked Divergent more, especially the jumping and running scenes. It feels rushed yada yada a lot of scenes deleted yada yada... I don't care xD One word: Four. Yes, I am shallow - staring and smiling whenever he is on screen. But if you are a purist who wants to squeeze a book to a two-hour movie without deleting/changing scenes, I don't recommend this movie. But if you are clueless or you haven't read the book like this Keeper, then, go watch it.

The ebooks, sadly, remain untouched in my kindle. I said I would read it when conchobar first recommended it. Anyway, I read the plot summary in wiki before watching it. You don't have to do that.

But my seatmate! Seriously. That man! I want to scream at his face. Goodness. We are basically seeing the same thing but he always asks his girlfriend what is happening! Just watch it and be quiet! I mean, my sister who just wanted to see the movie to decide whether to read the series or not, pretty much got the story without being annoying.

I like it that I want to make gifs and icons and adda da da kyaaah! Deciding whether to create a sideblog for Four... I mean the series... until my sister flops down next to me just now and tells me that (spoiler; highlight to read)Tris dies in the end. So yeah...

Moving on...

We purchased gold tickets for the block screening of Captain America - one of the fundraiser projects for our sanctuary.  The movie was kinda predictable. Aha. No surprises. I am not big on explosions. But I like Falcon, especially his wings! There were boring scenes...but oh well...

Today starts AFF's week-long anniversay celebration. Hope to finish what I need to finish. Haha!

- Keeper

Movies to watch next: Heaven is Real, Fault in our stars, Planes: Fire Fighters, The Other Woman, Avengers, Mockingjay, The Hobbit: There and Back Again...

I went and saw Divergent with some of my girl friends who didn't read the series either (they want to read it now) and all they could talk about was Four and how hot he was and how they wanted a man like that... It was pretty funny since that's what usually happens whenever I go see movies with them.

(And the books are good, a lot better than the movie. But the movie was pretty good as a movie despite the fact that they really didn't need that one Four/Tris scene in there, which isn't in the books. I also suggest the Maze Runner as well since I know the movie for that one is going to be coming out soon. (And I'll be shameless here but Dylan O'Brien and Kaya Scodelario are the leads and both are very beautiful people and great actors as well.))

Ha ha I've encountered people like that man at movies before ^^; My brother actually had a habit of doing that (and still does :P). Well I'm glad you're not grounded anymore and that you had a good time ^^ So would you recommend Divergent then? I've been tempted to read the books as well.

How awkward was your spoiler revelation ROFL

Watching Divergent soon—read the series and I'm loving it (except the latest, didn't really like it for some reason).

And which reminds me, I have to get on with writing my AFF journey heh.

Might do something for the week as well.
