PERSONALITY: Mei Yin has this 'I-can-conquer-the-world' aura emanating from her. She's always eager to learn new things and take on challenges. When life throws her lemons, she'll make orange juice and make everyone wonder how the heck she made it. There doesn't seem to be a thing that can bring her down since her confidence and strong personality seems to light everything up. Due to her rough childhood, Mei Yin grew up faster than most kids. She learned what troubles life gave out the hard way. Not knowing it herself, she acts more mature for her age.  She is able to handle tough situations much like an adult would since she handled most of these situations beforehand. Her mindset is more mature than a normal teen's, so she tends to be more realistic and practical when it comes to things. Although she doesn't think she's good at comforting people, she gives out really good advice to her peers. The fact that she isn't the type to judge others makes it even better. 

Upon meeting Mei Yin for the first time, she always makes sure to set a good impression. The last thing she wants is for someone to go around making trouble for her because they didn't like her. They feel a sense of comfort and relief around her since she doesn't act all shy or overly hyper when they meet. Around her sunbaes and older peers, Mei Yin always makes sure to show her respect by bowing and using proper manners. But when Mei Yin is around people she is comfortable with, such as her friends and mother, her strong appearance seems to dissapear. Her walls come down to reveal the sweet, child-like girl that she tries to bury beneath her independent image. Deep down, Mei Yin is still a child at heart since she couldn't be much of a kid during her childhood.

Now, lets go on about her bad traits. Mei Yin has a bad habit of brushing people off like they're nothing making her appear rude, but it's either because it doesn't concern her so she minds her own business or she genuinely does not care. Mei Yin isn't afraid to express her feelings. She doesn't find the need to hide how she feels. This also includes the way she acts. If she really likes a person, she isn't afraid to show it. She'll smile and initiate skinship casually by linking arms, leaning on them, etc. If she dislikes someone, she'll ignore them completely as if they didn't exist. Simple as that. Although this trait is admirable, it is also something very unpleasant, which leads to the next thing. People tend to be a little cautious around Mei Yin. The thing is, Mei Yin has a sharp tongue and can be very reckless about she says. Without meaning to, all it takes is a few wrong words before she can make you feel as if you were nothing. BACKGROUND: Song Mei Yin was born on December 1, 1995 in the big city of Shanghai, China. The Song family weren't rich, but they were still well off due to Mei Yin's parent's jobs. Her father was a surgeon while her mother was a nurse. Unfortunately, their jobs meant having to spend many nights at the hospital. Mei Yin found herself spending many lonely nights at home on her own while her parents were working. The only company she had was from her babysitter Linhua who stayed with her during these times. In a way, she didn't have an extremely close relationship with her parents. Because of that, she envied other kids with parents that they could see every day. Even so, Mei Yin's parents tried their hardest to spend time with their daughter. She knew that they loved her and that was all she wanted. Mei Yin had everything she could ever wish for. She had loving parents, a beautiful home and she was happy. 

However, that all ended once Mei Yin's father passed away from a car accident when she was 10. Mei Yin fell into a state of depression at the loss of her father. No longer did she wake up to see his warm smile or hear his soothing deep voice telling her how much he loved her. She was lost without him. With no one bringing in income to pay the bills, Mei Yin and her mother became financially unstable. Mei Yin's mother had to work several part times in order to pay the bills. There were days where Mei Yin wouldn't even see her mother at all since she was working so hard. They were barely getting by. This seemed to snap Mei Yin awake. She knew that she couldn't sit around anymore. Her father wouldn't want that. She should be helping her mother and help get their lives back on track again. Mei Yin would take her father's guitar and hold streetshows to raise money. The songs she would sing would mostly be popular songs at the time.  These mini performances made her quite famous in her small neighborhood. People would come out just to see the little girl sitting on a bench at the local park, singing her heart out with her guitar. 

One day, she was approached by a talent scout. He told her that she was pretty and had potential to become a celebrity. That was the time where Mei Yin realized how much she loved performing. All of the mini performances became second nature to her. She was immediately intrigued and agreed right away. However, she didn't agree just because it was her dream. She thought about her mother, too. The faster she debuted, the faster she can help her mother financially. Eventually, Mei Yin was signed under a Chinese entertainment company. During her trainee days, she improved her singing and guitar skills. She began learning how to speak basic Japanese along with learning Korean since Chinese artists were becoming popular in South Korea. Finally, Mei debuted at age 16 as a solo artist. Unlike other idols that were promoting upbeat songs, Mei Yin's music focused more on emotions and was more angelic-like. This made her stand out from the rest, even as a rookie. Soon, her music began to spread nationwide. Mei Yin began promoting in other countries such as South Korea and Japan where she continued to improve her launguages. In order to boost her popularity, her manager informed her of the news that she had been casted to be in We Got Married, a South Korean variety. But she was worried about being in another country. Sure, she's been to Seoul for performances, but she was still new to the culture and people. After much thought, she agreed. Afterall, she has always wanted to get married. She was curious as to what adventures awaited her.
 

Wan Xiao Jing | Mother | 52 | Nurse | Mei Yin's mother struggled many hardships being a single mother, but she always strived 100% in order to provide her daughter with everything she needed in life. She isn't the type of person to reveal how she feels and is usually reserved about her inner emotions. With a warm heart, she never fails to make Mei Yin laugh and smile with her clever wits. At times she can be overly protective and strict towards Mey Yin, but thats only because she has to play the role of the father too.  A part of her always felt sorry for her daughter because Mei Yin was always alone at home while she was out working. Wan Weisheng |  Father | 54 | Former Surgeon | Mei Yin was a complete Daddy's girl. The two were always attatched to the hip. Unlike most children that went to their mother for comfort, Mei Yin always went to her father starting from a young age. He was a stern and wise man that always gave out advice to those in need. If there was one man that Mei Yin wanted in her life, it would be her father. Since she spent so much time with her father, Mei Yin ended up aquiring some of his traits too. Her father wasn't afraid to stand up for what he believed in regardless of the concequences that he would have to face. He taught Mei Yin to become strong when everything around her was against her. There wasn't one any time where he didn't have some kind of story to tell. | Dead

Wu Ying Chieh aka Gui Gui | 24 | Taiwanese Actress | Gui Gui is a ball of energy. You can always find her with a smile on her face. She's always trying to brighten up the atmostphere. Despite being in her mid twenties, Gui Gui acts very childlike.  Her mischeivious side is always trying to play some kind of prank on the people around her. It gets to the point where people can't stand her childishness. But there are times where Gui Gui does act her age. For example, her cute and bubbly personality changes 180 degrees when she's acting. She becomes focused and mature. She becomes completely in tune with her acting, which adds to her her many years of acting experience. When she knows she has to be serious, she becomes just like a mother: kind, serious, and understanding. Then, she's back to her cheery self again. Mei Yin and Gui Gui both met when Mei Yin was a trainee. Gui Gui was visiting Shanghai where she had to film a drama. The director needed an extra cameo. Mei Yin just so happened to be passing by and at the last second, the director asked if she could take the role. In a spur of the moment, Mei Yin accepted. Having no experience in acting, Gui Gui helped her throughout the scene. After filming was over, they exchanged numbers. Since then, the two would always try to meet up and constantly text/call eachother when they weren't busy being celebrities.

FRIENDS: 

Lu Han | 23 | Idol (EXO) | Luhan is EXO's flower boy deer! Don't let his adorable baby face trick you. He actually happens to be the second oldest member of EXO. Being the mood maker of EXO-M, his bright personality and smile make it hard for people to stay mad at him for long. Luhan isn't the type to hold grudges. He doesn't get mad easily either which usually makes him a target for the other member's pranks to see if he would get mad, but he never does. When he's meeting someone for the first time or if he's on camera, Luhan tends to become really shy and it takes him a while to voice his opinions and actions. However, whenever Luhan is feeling down he would isolate himself from everyone and try to be alone. He doesn't like letting people worry about him when he's upset. Mei Yin and Luhan happen to be childhood friends. They went to the same neighborhood school. From having the same classes to walking home together, they were close. However, their friendship became a little distant once Luhan became an SM trainee and was in South Korea. But now that they both were famous, they got to see eachother a lot more often since she would get to see EXO-M during the times they promoted in China. She also got to meet the other EXO-M members too through Luhan.

Yang Linhua | 40 | Former Babysitter | There isn't much you can say about Linhua. She tends to be really introverted and likes to keep to herself. She doesn't like making complications or causing trouble. Mei Yin often compares Linhua to a mouse because of her quiet and timid nature. Despite this, it just means that she's observant about her surroundings and the people around her. Deep down she's a warm-hearted and caring woman. Since she spent a lot of time taking care of Mei Yin as a child, she holds Mei Yin very close to her heart. She treats her just like her own daughter. Although she isn't needed as a babysitter anymore, Mei Yin visits Linhua often to spend time with her. To Mei Yin, Linhua is part of her family.

HOW YOU WANT TO MEET: On the day of their first meeting, it's nightfall. Next, Ilhoon is given a mission to find his wife. He has to try and guess who his wife is while going through a series of riddles. Each riddle will lead him to a certain destination and get him closer to Mei Yin. Meanwhile, Mei Yin is waiting by the Han River where she has prepared a special night picnic for her unknown husband. The lights on the bridge are illuminated and relfecting on the river, making the scene look romantic-like. When Ilhoon and Mei Yin finally meet, they spend their first meeting under the stars while eating the food Mei Yin cooked.

HOW YOU INTERACT WITH HIM: Mei Yin's interactions with Ilhoon slowly progresses over time. During their first few meetings, she acts as she always do. Naturally, she approaches him in a friendly, casual manner as she tries to get to know him better. Due to their language barrier, Mei Yin struggles to communicate with Ilhoon. Her Korean isn't perfect. She knows enough to get by, but not enough to understand long phrases or difficult words which proves difficult when she's talking with Ilhoon. As the show progresses, Mei Yin starts to let her guard down around Ilhoon, something she usually doesn't do often. She becomes closer to her husband and starts showing the one thing Ilhoon hates: skinship. She knows he hates it, but since they are 'married' she tried to ease him into her skinship by doing little affectionate things such as leaning on him, holding his hand, fixing his bangs, etc. Mei Yin tries her best in order to be the perfect wife figure. She gives him words of encourgement, cleans their little house, cooks for him, etc. Little does she know, she slowly starts falling for Ilhoon.

HOW HE INTERACTS WITH YOU: Like Mei Yin, Ilhoon doesn't have much dating experience. Thus. he doesn't know how to be a romantic or manly type of husband. He even has to ask s on how he should act around Mei Yin. It takes him a while to adjust to becoming a married man. When they first meet, Ilhoon was surprised when he saw his 'wife'. Although he was excited and happy to have her as his wife (she was becoming known in Korea by then), Ilhoon was also worried. He felt that they would only get along as friends instead of a married couple since their personalities seem to be so different. She was more mature and he was more childish. But the more time they spent together, the more that thought seemed to disappear. He started liking the idea of having the idea of having her as his wife. His playful nature would always find the time to say the cheekiest things around her just so he can see her become embarassed. Because of this, Ilhoon often teases Mei Yin. Rather than acting like a husband, he seems to appear more as her little brother. When he starts to develop feelings for Mei Yin, his outlook slowly begins to change. He wants to appear more as a man in her eyes and become the proper husband-oppa figure for her. He starts taking care of her better and showing his affections more.

HOW YOU WANT TO MEET: The two will meet at the YG building. Upon arriving, GD is given a mission to find his wife. Scattered throughout the building, there are certain items that belong to Mei Yin: a rose necklace, a blue iPod, and a sweater. GD has to go through a scavenger hunt to find these items. With each item he finds, he is given a hint as to who his wife may be. When all the items are found, it leads him to the YG recording to studio. There, he finds Mei Yin with her guitar. In order to try to get to know eachother better, they spend time trying to record a small song.

HOW YOU INTERACT WITH HIM: GD isn't a complete stranger to Mei Yin. Everyone has heard of the male at least once in their life. After all, who can miss such a tendy and cool guy? She was a BIGBANG fan prior to their meeting, so she wasn't completely clueless about him. Mei Yin feels at ease with her husband since luckily for her, there wasn't a language barrier between them since GD knew how to speak Chinese too. She struggles a bit on how to act sometimes since she wants to appear to him as a wife and not as a fan. As she gets to know him more, she begins to act more natural and reveal her inner self. Mei Yin becomes more sweet and childlike as she initiates more skinship with GD. Since GD is really popular in the music industry, there are times where Mei Yin begins to worry. She's the type to get jealous easily and it upsets her whenever she sees GD's interactions with other females. If GD has done something wrong, she'll just give him the cold shoulder and make him realize he's done something wrong. She doesn't forgive easily, so it can be a problem when they get into fights during their 'marriage'.

FASHION SENSE: Mei Yin's fashion style usually balances beween casual and dressy. She likes wearing comfortable clothes that don't require her to 'dress-to-impress', but enough for her to stand out and showcase her beauty. On a normal casual day during the warmer seasons of spring and summer, you'll usually find her wearing flowy items such as blouses, skirts or most commonly dresses. If she's feeling a little more casual, Mei Yin would wear jeans with a t-shirt and a stylish jacket. During the colder seasons of fall and winter, you'll see Mei Yin almost always wearing oversized sweaters and hoodies with jeans to keep her warm and comfy. As far as accessorizing, she'll only wear a few small things at a time like a necklace and a ring. She likes to keep things simple. Ironically, her girly fashion sense despises heels. Not liking to wear heels for long periods of time, Mei Yin would much rather wear shoes that are closer to the ground such as flats, sandals and sneakers.
