So, for those of you that care about my story, Going the Distance, I'm sorry that I take so long to update. I really do love writing this story, and it is very close to my heart. But, updates could take a while, because I'm constantly busy. I have a ton of work I have to do around the house - because my step-mom has been extremely sick this past year. I'm also currently preparing to go to college, and I'm very desperatly trying to find a job. This year has been a very hard, and stressful year for me. No one could have predicted that my step-mom, who I love very much, would be diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. And for us all to find out that it is terminal, it was devestating. It still is. I've already lost so many people I love. I wasn't prepared to hear that. I'm still not prepared. And it's hard going from being a family that usually doesn't have any money problems, to being a family that barely has any money. I couldn't even afford to buy my cap and gown for graduation. Or a prom ticket. I don't even have the $8 I need to go on a field trip. If that says anything about my current situation. Which is why I'm desperate for a job. Anything I can do to help my family out. So all I'm asking for is a little understanding as to why updates are so slow. I love all of you, and if anyone ever needs to talk, I'll be here.
