Personality: Geun Ah is a very adaptable person in the case that she is able to adjust herself to any situation that comes at her. It’s part of what makes her such a great leader because she can tinker herself to match each person and give them the proper advice that they might be needing at the time. It goes along with her good nature and gentle persona behind the cameras. The more that she feels comfortable and able to open up that side of her she will. She is resentful that her gparents didn’t do more to support as a trainee because this was her biggest dream and she did everything that she was asked of by them. So, often times she has a hard time being able to trust what others say until they prove themselves an ally to her. I guess in way that makes a very careful type of person when it comes to befriending others. On the other hand, Geun Ah can be so honestly humble that it makes most others look like liars. It has often helped her get away with things that she shouldn’t have gotten away with. She’s often seen as the peacemaker because of the want to help others get along to enjoy the quiet.
Something, Geun Ah struggles with the most is organization for all the carrying on for others that she does she has a hard time keeping her own life organized as well as making time for only herself. She can be very narrow-minded around those that she cares about which makes it hard for others to let her know they have made mistakes. Often chooses to be determined on others goals and stubbornly adopts on what they want to do instead. Kind of, like the time that she decided that she wanted to be a dancer instead of a singer which is her passion. Because, of her nature though she was able to become a pillar for most other trainees when they felt they could come and talk to her. Which, brings up another fault of Geun Ah’s, she hates to be the first to start a conversation unless she’s hiding behind her mask of charisma. She’s the best person you could ask to help you challenge yourself because she won’t let you give up if you need the push. She has this underlying optimism that keeps radiating no matter what, which would explain why she is an introvert.
When, Geun Ah gets upset, she covers up her feelings by joking and making others laugh. If it goes too far she often becomes sarcastic and makes cynical jokes which may end up hurting others. The only way to let her get over this is to take her somewhere that she can just scream. With all that being said, Geun Ah is funny and good humored around close friends but distances her from those that she doesn’t trust. When, she’s alone writing something is when most of her creative nature comes out, it is one of the biggest reasons that she wanted to be an idol in the first place. Intellectually, she is amazing and she absorbs knowledge like a sponge. Due to Geun Ah’s pusillanimous side she often withdraws herself from others if they are too confrontational. The only one that can help her to get out of this is her best friends inside the group and outside the group. Either that or someone just might have to call up her crush.
Family Background: Geun Ah was born to her parents right after their last year in college they were both attending abroad in Pau, France. Her mother who was well versed in fashion wanted to move to Florence, Italy straight away once she was old enough to be moved. So her and her father packed up they're belongings and headed over by plane to they're new home. That was the home that held the most memories for Geun Ah because she made the most friends they're regardless of the fact that she was of a different race. During, that time she spent most of her time enjoying everything she could while being a kid. It was also during that time that she found out she loved to dance because of the lessons she began to take. She studied it for around three years there until her parents had her move to Austin, Texas for better oppotunities to be involved in fashion and businesses. Upon arriving to America, her parents wanted her to focus more on her school studies to the point where it got so bad for her that she ended up having to go live with her grandparents on her fathers side so they could calm down.
While, she lived with her grandparents it was there that she found out she loved k-pop and took to it like a fish to water. She became determined to make a name for herself in the field. And after she filmed herself performing an original dance to an S.E.S. song that she doesn’t remember off the top of her head. She sent it to them through YouTube back when it first started, around 2005. It wasn’t hard, but Geun Ah did have to sneak out to audition for them properly which involved hitchhiking to Los Angeles. It was easier said than done because she had a group of friends with her. Luckily they were able to make it on a bus that had stopped and picked them because they thought that they were lost and stranded. Over the next week she spent her time enjoying the scenery and auditioning for SM Entertainment like she had always wanted to do since the first time that she had heard BoA singing. Geun Ah hated school because the girls there picked on her more often than not because she had a thick Italian accent and she didn’t understand a lot of what they would tell her. But, after school it was better because she was able to go and get rid of her frustration by throwing herself into singing lessons. While, she did ask to be allowed to take some dance classes her grandparents wanted her to focus more on schooling. During, her time in Middle School she found out just how harsh others could be. It was on her 11th year she went trick or treating with some girlfriends. They had been out for a while, but were getting bored so they decided to play a prank on her. They took her to an abandoned house and told her to go inside to get the candy. While, she was in the house they had locked the door by tying some rope to the door quietly as she was looking around for the candy. When, they had finished trapping her in the house they took off to some party. Geun Ah was only able to get home when they had gone to confess what had happened after she had gone missing for several days.
It was the accident at school that made her grandparents keener on bringing her back to live in Korea after she had passed the audition for SME. They had been reassured by the representative that she would be well taken care of during her time in the academy which she was going to be enrolled in. When she got to Korea though, she had to wait a few several months before she could be given a space in the dorms to live. She took a plane after insuring that her things had been sent over before her. Three years after the time that she started to train under the SM label she left because it was much to hard on her. Geun Ah auditioned for and was accepted into JYPE where she spent two years advancing her dancing abilities until she felt that it would be better to find a company that would appreciate her singing abilities as well. She resigned herself from the company and finally made herself a home with Woolim Entertainment. She was probably only around 15 at the time because had just decided that she really liked guys for some reason. With her history with her soon to be sunbaenim Ho Won she was easily taken in especially after showing off her talent that she had gained at SM Academy and during her time as a JYPE Trainee. The only thing that she's majorly upset about is she's stuck with SME again because of the recent merger.

Why are you rivals: A lot of people think that its because we have similar skills, but I would have to say its because of how much I'm jealous that she can show herself off without being afraid of what others say about her. Also, because when we were trainees together under the same label Min Young watched on while I was being picked on and didn't say anything or try and stop it from happening. I've had a grudge with her ever since because she never came back to apologize for it happening.

How you met: We met during my first month of being a trainee and he had shown up because he was going to be a part of the newest debuting group. I was dancing and he came into the dance studio to give me some advice and tips. I reacted defensively and misunderstood he was trying to help me at the time. The next time that we met was for a concert they were having and I was to be a back up for him and Dongwoo during they're duo dance segment. I apologized to him backstage afterwords because I felt awful about being so mean to him.
How do you interact in public: I only talk to him quietly or when he's with a group of s so the fans won't think I'm with him and start to bash him. I also don't spend much time with him outside of schedules because of sasaengs. At the company however, I only spend my time with two people from Infinite regardless of the fact that I respect all of them.
