So what?

I recommend fics a lot and I know most of you have either already read them or you don't care what I like or why. SO WHAT? As my friend, I'm afraid you will have to endure. Especially when I recommend this particular fic that I think you all have already read.

(Not) Another High School Romance

Guise...I just can't tell you how much this fic SHAMES me. You know me. You know I am a sorry excuse for a writer. But still, I try. Yet every time I read something like this, something so outstanding that I have a hard time figuring out what to do with my life after the last sentence is read, I just don't want to write another word. I feel like a fraud, a loser, a big lie. THIS, is real talent and I don't care if you've already read it. Some of you haven't and if that is you, READ IT NOW.

But you're not a fraud. You're actually damn funny ^_^ And you don't stick to fandom norms. That's a really difficult thing to achieve you know? Your characters aren't silly misinterpretations of what gay people act like. And I haven't RPed much but of all those times, writing our little wall stories is like the best fun I've had so far this year. You're one of the better writers on here, and I rwc you at my blog all the time.

So get back to writing will you? You're damn awesome at it.

Sometimes I feel that way too but that doesn't stop me from writing. Some people have been here writing for a long time, and some people have nothing better to do with their lives so they they write and have no choice but to make room for improvement because they have so much time on their hands. Never give up, and take your time. You can't become an author overnight, it takes time :)
