This blog post is more of a way of letting my thoughts out in an organized fashion and hopefully help some of you Chanyeol stans recover from the news we heard today. So basically, Chanyeol is confirmed for SBS Roommate (which airs on April 20th), a show that everybody has been anticipating because they wanted to know if their biases would be in it. Chanyeol stans got unlucky and out of the blue, he becomes a potential member for the show and gets casted in the same day. So, yes it is normal to feel shocked and unwelcoming about this sudden turn of events.

I just want to say that personally since I ship Chanyeol with so many girls, I don't mind him being on a show with other people. Most of them are old people and the girl closest his age (who's still his noona though) is Nana and she's going to be his partner on the show.

So now you understand why Chanyeol stans are raging. But we all know variety shows are mostly scripted so if Chanyeol confesses something, it will most likely be fake. I'm not worried about them as partners because I have a feeling Nana will be really cute on it and she won't do something to upset EXO fans (even though we all know that the poor girl will be bashed nonetheless). I fear the show's directors and what they'll force Chanyeol and Nana to display on television.

Hopefully, like SBS claims, the show is just for the purpose of displaying the friendship between men & women and there's nothing more. I don't think I'll mind them as a ship because I like seeing Chanyeol with girls that are my biases. Of course I prefer Chandara and Chanlli, Chanbora and Chanyeon but I'm going to welcome this new ship to support my oppa so he doesn't feel uneasy on the show. 

When you guys read this, go somewhere and let out your anger and curse as much as you want but then eventually realize that reality cannot be altered. So let your heart accept Nana as Chanyeol's partner for the next few weeks. 

Let NaYeol start beautifully and end beautifully.

So it turns out, Nana and Chanyeol are not room mates. Just another rumour fans had made up to create a bit of a stir. Chanyeol's partner is Shin Sung Woo, a 47 year-old actor. I think he looks cool and Chanyeol seemed to be getting along very well with him in the teasers. As for Nana, her partner is Hong Soo Hyun, a 34 year-old beautiful actress.

Despite this, the show seems to be liking this mini-group of theirs as they were all caught eating dinner without the others.

Room mate airs Sunday, April 20th so stay tuned!
