My Life

History: Growing up she was surrounded by many children. Being the second oldest out of her brother, she took on a lot of the responsibility that her mother couldn't after she was involved in an accident while working. In Yujin's childhood, she loved to play and mess around with her brother, screaming and running along the streets in District 5 creating games in which they had to trying to avoid the Peacekeepers. As the years passed by, their family kept growing with the addition of her 3 younger brothers and 2 twin sister with another child on the way. With the increasing family size, her father had to handle more work and as soon as her brother reached the age to work, he was off doing odd jobs here and there to earn more money. Even at a young age she noticed the strain in her father's body and the growing one in her brother's so without a lot of consent from her father she started working on behalf of her mother at a power plant factory too earn more money.

Yujin had to grow up and take responsibility at a younger age and changed from an optimistic and outgoing child to a more reserved and quiet person as she watched over her family. After her mother's accident, she stopped playing with the children around her age and had started to help her brother and mother with things at home. By the time she was able to start work, she immediately set her self up for it and went from the go. She often worked late in to earn more money and learnt a few extra skills to work more complicated mechanics. When her father found out she was working he was very angry with her but didn't blame her for wanting to help out and after many arguments and tantrums, her mother convinced him that Yujin should keep her job as it earned the family money and she could gain experience from working in the power plant factories.

The day of the Reaping, Yujin had a really bad gut feeling and she was very fidgety throughout the introduction. When they were drawing out the names for the tributes she was insanely scared one of her siblings would be called out and never expected her own name to make it through. As she walked to get to the stage she found the eyes of her siblings which help silent tears and even when her brother wanted to volunteer she shook her head to tell him not to because the family needed a strong man in the family just in case something happened to their father, especially when their mother was so close to being due to have the next baby.

Personality: Yujin has been very quiet ever since her mother's accident. She's an observant character that is very critical in her thoughts to be able to get the maximum results for her goals. Although she may seem rather creepy at times with the lack of time she spends opening , she rather likes to watch everything and everyone around her as she analyzes their actions and words to figure out what they are trying to gain. Eyes that are skilled to watch out for details because of her job, she has developed a high intellect due to her observations and the skills required to perform different task within the power plant. Her knowledge allows her to make mostly accurate deductions of her surroundings and come to objective conclusions so she can have an advantage. Yujin knows that this life is a game and to be the winner she has to be able to figure out the audience and give them what they want to gain their trust in her. She doesn't want to really get close to anyone because she doesn't want to be the one to kill someone she has grown attached too, so she seems very reserved and hard to understand or get close to.

She is a very stoic person and refuses to show people when she is struggling, always putting up a brave front because of her pride and she doesn't want to seem weak. Behind her introverted exterior, she is a very warm person and is somewhat like a mothers when it comes to people she becomes attached. The only real way to tell what is thinking is by catching her mumbling to herself/ when she actually talks because she has a very frank and has no tact at all when she speak or if she blows up in your face. She has a weak spot for younger children and actually really likes to take care of others, but in a world that is a free for all battle to the death, she can't take her chances and needs to be strong and independent. Yujin hates to rely on others and a lot of the time she will bottle up her emotions so other's won't know what's going on with her until she blows up and hurts someone that may or may not be her ally.

On rare occasions where is isn't being serious about her work or survival, she may revert back into the childish person she use to be before anything bad happened. She is easily amused by little things and has a hard time trying to stop laughing once she gets going, lying in a pool of giggles by the end of her fit. Her strategic mind is not the only thing that is always thinking, but her creative juices are hard at work as well, especially in the hunger games where she needs to be more creative and smart with the deaths of the other tributes so it is unexpected. Yujin's smiles are always a delight to see and she can be very witty, sarcastic and stubborn, especially when she is tired/exhausted and just can't go further. She does tend to brood a lot and is easily frustrated at people when they can't do things right but she is also their to help after everyone has cooled down.

Family's Reaction: Her younger siblings were all silently crying while her older brother had a stoic face, but it was obvious he was having a hard time breathing from trying to keep the tears in. Her mother was the one who collapsed in tears begging it not to be true while her father tried to stay strong and hold his broken wife as they watched Yujin slowly walk up.

What do you do during public training: She wouldn't go to public training if she could help it, but if she did she would spend more time on learning and practicing how to survive in the wild (poisonous plants, setting up camp, etc.). When she is in the training room she would also observe the other's and analyse their strong and weak points in yielding their chosen weapon.
What do you do during private training: She messes around with wire and also practices her hand with long range weapons for her accuracy.

She will try and be 'cute' with giggles and sweet smiles, blushing if complemented and reverting back to being shy when she 'realises' she has gotten to involved about talking.
