EYK, my thoughts

I am going to say the same thing I said on my tumblr.

You know what guys? I’m really mad at the Kpop fandom for bashing EYK about A LOT of stuff. FIRST, Keydesu was WRONG. The yellow dust is a thing and has actually reached toxic levels. You CAN’T judge someone just because they were wearing masks. They could have been SICK for all she knows. And then they respond in a simple manner by reblogging it and telling them that this was a mistake and is actually because of the yellow dust.

THEY SHOULD’NT HAVE DONE THAT? Well who knows, maybe if they were to message her privately she probably would’ve made it public anyways. They dealt with it respectively. It’s the PEOPLE’S fault that they feel the need to send bad messages to Keydesu NOT EYK’s.

YOU PUT YOU’RE FICS OUT TO THE INTERNET FOR EVERYONE TO READ. It is PUBLIC INFORMATION. People all over the world read it, talk about it, make edits about, etc. You should be glad EYK even ASKED. They could have simply taken a few of the fics that they know about without the permission of the author and it would’ve been LEGAL. You post it on the internet, it’s there FOR THE TAKING OF OTHER PEOPLE. Is that right? No. But is it legal? Yes.

So why are people making their fics private or even deleting them? You have NO IDEA what they’re going to use it for, and I HIGHLY DOUBT they’d “make fun of it”. I’d be HONORED if they read one of my fics or if someone even sent one in that was mine. And you don’t want a bad comment on it? Sorry to tell you, but that’s life. Everything comes with criticism and I would love to hear what criticism they have on my fics so I can make it better.

You may call them “rude” and “ignorant” about things but you know what? Right now, the kpop fandom is NO BETTER. Last night I read a post that says “Send in a fic of Key slapping Martina in the face”. THAT’S NOT FUNNY, THAT’S JUST RUDE. “Scarring them for life” with fics is RUDE. If you’re against sending fics in, THEN DON’T SEND THEM AT ALL.

Yes, a lot of things they say are uncalled for like B.A.P ( ). But it’s their opinion and is it not the entirety of the kpop fandom that says “We’re all entitled to our own opinion, don’t judge people because of it”? And yet when EYK says something, EVEN IF IT’S CORRECT, they still get judged.

Thank you! I actually really like EYK. I do agree that they're not perfect and sometimes say things that may be unnecessary, but for the most part I find them funny and pleasant. I wouldn't mind if they read some of my fics, but I also get where some authors are coming from when they don't want their work submitted, but for the people who got so upset, a simple "Please don't submit my work" would have sufficed.
I also saw the keydesu thing, and in my humble opinion, she just seems like a spoiled child that can't stand to be wrong.I mean, she's what, 19? I'm 15 and even I know you need to have at least a little more maturity than that to be a respectable human being. They could have gotten really upset with her, but they didn't, and she had the nerve to say she was "disrespected" by them? Ugh.
I saw people getting so mad about the Simon and Martina thing, and it's fine with me if people choose not to like their YouTube activities and such, but seriously, what the hell did EYK ever do to them?
Sorry about the super long comment. I'm just glad that someone else finally is seeing this in a similar light.

I am going to be quite honest here. true no one knows what exactly they will be using the fics for but its been said that EYK is not what they used to be and the fan-fiction community itself is fandom based. A lot of idols are NOT comfortable with fanfics, do you know that? A lot of idols FOLLOW EYK did you know that? Authors write for the sake of others in the fandom. Those in fandom know what to look for and where to look for it. So what it is on the internet, if you don't want to look for it, it won't be found right? That is majority of everyone's problem. EYK has a variety for their fanbase and not everyone is comfortable with the fandom. A lot of people write and a lot people are not comfortable with that, a lot of people write and people are not comfortable with that. Personally, just like many authors I do not want my work mentioned OUTSIDE of the fandom. Absolutely not. It's not meant to be read by anyone outside of fandom and I damn sure don't want people blogging about it. A lot of authors feel that way. It's a sacred and personal thing within each fandom.

I am disappointed about the B.A.P thing-y, but I don't hate them. They've been receiving hate for a long time, and they just find more reasons to hate them and influence others to do so. We can't please everyone; every famous people has their share of antis. I'm not a famous person, but I know some people hate me somewhere for no apparent reason. Their sole goal in life is to bash people, so they would feel great about themselves. I agree with you.

About the EYK being hated by the kpop fandom, I don't see why. Simon and Martina seem to be really nice and kind people! They do charities, are kind with their fans, and yeah! They are nice people, they love and respect each other, or at least what we see on cam. People only dislike them because they criticize music that they like. As far as the three B video (BAP, BTOB, and BTS) that mad me mad, yeah, but I don't hate them. We all have opinions, right? Their opinions are just getting bashed so people can hate them.

My friend...you have just created the only blog post about this that actually makes sense. Idk why people are getting al worked up about this. It's Eyk, what harm could they possibly do to your story, besides make it more, if not already, popular.

And I was told that it was fake tweets ._,
