PERSONALITY: Haerin, an outgoing, happy go lucky Busan girl, who always tries her best at everything she does. She is an optimistic person, she doesn't like dwelling onto melodramatic moments, she prefers to enjoy life as it is. She is known for her witty and cheeky attitude, the moodmaker and the person with aegyo. She may be older than some people but she has this lovely childish side to her that gives energy to other people. Haerin is a hardworking girl that sets her priorities straight and her goals high. She always makes sure she will achieve the things that she wants, if she doesn't she will work on things till she can get it.

 

Haerin may be the best type of person to have around but not exactly. She is a person that does backbiting too. She can make people trust her but she has a cunning way to slyly reveal things about the person to another person. She does it discreetly as if she is innocent but she is not that way. A simple word to describe her is known as 'Snake'. She is the nice girl that everyone wants to have as friends but nobody actually knows that she is the (sorry for using such words) that sometimes destroys a person's image. 

 

To wrap things up about her is that, she is insecure of herself. She feels intimidated by some people's talent thus resulting her to backstabbing. The more talented the person is, the more she tries to find something to bring that person down. She is afraid that she will be left behind, her mindset is, if a person is debuting, it better be with her, if it's not with her, she would at least reveal something that would be an advantage for her. Yes, she is selfish.

 

BACKGROUND: Growing up in Busan with a strict family was difficult. Her parents expected highly from her and her siblings. They had to get good grades, good performances and good everything, Haerin was depressed and the stress that her parents had given her was too overbearing for her. Her parents wanted her to be the best student in her school's cohort. This stress made her do something that she wasn't supposed to in high school. She hurt one of her rival, and this made her rival not able to attend classes, nobody saw what she had done. Her rival was pushed down the staircase and was sent to hospital one day before the exam. This opportunity led her to get the best student award as her grades and performance in school was excellent. Somehow as she grows older, her mindset was then set that if she don't do something to her rival, she is never good enough. This unhealthy thought still haunts her till today and as much as she wants to stop this particular view, she can't because she has made this factor grew in herself.

 

Haerin didn't waste time, after she went for singing classes she made sure she polish her singing skils and technique. She got recognition from her vocal teacher and she gained confidence through that. She auditioned for JYP and got accepted but because she couldn't reach his expectation for dancing, he had somehow put her on hold however, he was disappointed that she never really did improve in that period of time he gave, he decided to cut her from the company. He wasnted to transfer her to another company, Cube. However, Cube had a lot of trainee under them already so they rejected the offer, thus JYP cut her away just like that and wished her all the best. Haerin then went for underground route, where she learned how to rap and made a featuring for a few underground rapper. She tried making her own R&B based song but she wasn't able to produce a good one. Through underground activities, Haerin was contacted by Shin Hyuk PD who has a lot of connection underground. He said he was interested to scout her as a trainee and he told her not to waste her talent. She thought it trough a lot, she didn't want to feel disappointed again and she didn't exactly like the difficult trainee life. However, her dream was too strong and she decided to accept the offer and be a BigHit Entertainment Trainee!

 

 

• She is currently a trainee at bighit entertainment, she has been a trainee for three years.
• She hates the fact that the trainees that came after her has debuted first thus she makes up stories about them for example, she said Miso's parents who was rich has actually bribed the company to debut her first. Miso family is rich and the other trainees knew about it so they believed Haerin.
• She was dismissed from being a trainee at JYP because she didn't meet the expectation that JYP wanted, because of this she was nearly transfered to CUBE ent but CUBE rejected the trainee transfer so she was left alone again.
• Haerin lives in a dorm currently, she is avoiding her parent's call and whenever they texted her, she will say she is busy, The reason why she does this is because she doesn't want to be stressed again by her parents.
• Haerin wants to be able to be an idol-actress one day and receive praises for it.
