Yes, I finally finished my BIGBANG shoes! It took me last night and today to do them, and before I show you all, let me tell you my little adventure doing this.

Most of the week I had been drawing in my sketch pad trying to make sure I could draw chibi BIGBANG, write in BIGBANG's font, and write in hangul. This is what a page of my sketchbook ended up looking like:

That's A LOT.

Well, last night after work I finally decided to start on my shoes. I was really scared, but went for it anyways. I began with TOP, but didn't draw his face. It looked okay. So I drew the rest of the members, and this is what it looked like:

I was getting happier, so I decided to draw the faces. They looked alright to me:

It got to be midnight (I had been watching TOP's 71 Into the Fire while working on them) so I went to bed.

This morning I woke up and continued. The rest of it went well, so I began to outline everything:

I was getting really excited and I didn't want to stop. So I began coloring. That went really well, too.

This is where the rant begins.

I colored everything except the faces. It was time to color the faces. Keep in mind I had purchased over 40 permanent markers for this project. So, one would assume that one of these packs would include a skin-colored permanent marker, right?

WRONG.

I ended up using a Bic brand marker for the faces, and let me warn you guys: If you ever decide to make a pair o shoes like this, do not, I repeat, DO NOT use Bic. Use Sharpie brand markers ONLY.

The marker bled into the other colors. I got so pissed, but I didn't want to give up.

I finished the shoes, and I'll admit I like them. They're pretty bright. It's pretty good for my first pair besides the fact the damn Bic marker bled.

What do you guys think? Are they okay?

I feel like an extreme K-Pop fan! I want to make another pair but more of a grey base for the shoes.
